Not interested in it myself, but might want to weigh it, and inspect/assess it (whichever tells the breakage/base material). Sounds like it's imflass, if it is, the lighter weight could make it more desirable (considering it has the "downside" of the odd enchant value that imflass has)

I've got a 6x Rolaren breastplate that asseses as made of Rolaren and is actually double leathers.. *shrug* always something goofy in this game.

As for the odd enchant, thats easy to explain... its simply altered Forest Greens that have been bumped by a merchent

Brigandine armor got it's name because brigands would wear metal plates between two layers of fabric so that you could not tell they were wearing armor until they got close. The metal plates make up the major defensive portion of the armor, but it is essentially constructed of leather.
