Found another odd gem, can someone tell me if its been screwed up with 325?

Would like to see examples of what all the gems will look like after the respective 'imbeds' are done by a cleric.

That's the description for a nexus gem. That's what usually happens when a cleric comes across a nexus gem that they didn't bless. Clerics can only recognize imbedded and blessed tier gems they themselves blessed, though can still use any of the first 4 tiers when blessed by another. Didn't happen to purchase it in the pawnship in Illistim, did you ? I sold off a 3 or 4, nearly depleted nexus gems at the pawnshop the other night.

If your cleric didn't bless it himself, it won't properly indentify under the BLESS command. Here's a quick list of what it looks like with the LOOK command.

Brimstone:
The periwinkle feystone glows with a warm amber light.

Nexus :
Peering closely at the maernstrike diamond you notice black clouds swirling within the gem's walls.

Chrism:
The now translucent outer shell of the uncut emerald allows you to see the ordinary, cobalt liquid undulating.

Are these gems usable by non-clerics?

Heh. Would be interesting if they were. The first two tiers are usable by anyone, but the next, more useful two (nexus and chrism) are cleric only.
