I'm curious as to what the inspect on that would say. Do you mind?

Why in the world would this matter in the slightest?

It's regular black steel plate.. It'll say it covers the all body parts worn on the chest and made of steel.

Why in the world would it matter in the slightest why I want to know? I'm a potential customer, and I asked (politely, I might add). It probably took you longer to write that post than it would have to type 'inspect plate', ctrl+c, ctrl+p. Thank you for your time, though.

Asking politely doesn't always get you what you want. You could politely ask me to sell it to you for 10M. Should I give it to you for that because you said please?

I have no problems answering relevant questions. However, asking me a question that is pretty self evident from a) the title and b) in the post itself is a waste of both of our time.

And, by the way, I did answer your question. Twice now.

I'm sorry, I'm the asshole, what I meant to ask for was an assessment. I'm curious as to those specs.

Screw me for posting before I've had my coffee. Sorry.

I don't have a warrior handy. I'll dig one up later tonite.

You realize all it's going to say is, "blah blah covers all body parts... blah blah it is heavily crit padded against blow blah blah"?

Mine is 7x HCP steel, it's going to say the same thing as this:

assess arm
You assess the armor for structural weaknesses and strengths.

Careful examination indicates the steel plate armor has a base strength of 69 and a base durability of 665. You also determine the current integrity of the steel plate armor to be at 100.0%.

Examining the armor closely, it looks like it's heavily padded against critical blows.

Edit: The important part of the inspect would look like this:

inspect arm
You carefully inspect your steel plate armor.

Your careful inspection of some blackened steel plate armor allows you to conclude that it is plate armor that covers the torso, arms, legs, neck, and head.

That works for me, thanks Khariz.

All that time spent.. And you're not even interested in buying the plate.

Wasted effort for everyone.

...

Pardon me for taking a couple of days to consider a major purchase. Assuming I'm not interested one day after I get information I asked for (and was subsequently bitched at) three days prior is a bit premature, don't you think?

Creating a good rapport with potential customers is key to generating sales. Since you apparently lack this skill, effort was wasted for everyone, but I don't know why you're worried about it because you didn't do anything but bitch at me for asking for more information that I find relevant. I don't really understand it, because I've had pleasant exchanges with everyone else I've dealt with on this forum. Had Khariz been selling this armor (which he may as well do, since I actually got an answer from him), he would have just made a sale. Maybe it's because you think that your hot ticket item will net you a buyer no matter what attitude you display.

That might be true. But that buyer won't be me. I genuinely wish you good luck selling it, and free bump for you.

Ciao.

Talk about bitching someone out for no reason. I sure you hope you the PMS excuse to fall back on. ;)

Edit: I should've specified this comment was directed at the seller for jumping on the potential customer when they asked for an inspect/asses.

Seriously, where you get the idea I was bitching you out, is beyond me. I asked you why an Inspect was relevant when the description says full plate. You even posted an apology for asking for the Inspect and asked for an Assessment. I offered to dig up a warrior in a subsequent post, while paraphrasing what the assess would say.
Khariz posted up an almost identical set and what did you reply with?
"Works for me"
You're complaining that you didn't get any information when your own post stated you didn't need it.

Did you really need an inspect and an assess to make your decision? Did you expect to learn something new? Especially considering if anything I orginally posted was untrue, I could simply make it up and you wouldn't know the difference.

Silly me for thinking that the title was self explanatory enough. I've never had someone ask me to post an inspect or an assess on armor when the properties are listed in the title or the description.

Was my last post hasty? Probably. Did it seem like you were jerking my chain by asking questions that I thought I had already answered? Yeah. Because as I've said, I've never had someone ask me for an Inspect or Assess.

WTF, I'm definitely not buying anything from this guy. Some people are so arrogant.

You got arrogance from what exactly?

Of course, if you can't figure this out yourself, you're in the wrong line of work.

Hm. Let's see.

For your first quote, the person who asked the question which I was replying to even said it wasn't necessary.

For the second, I already admitted it was a hasty posting.

Again, where's the arrogance?
