Min: 50m

A long black spidersilk cloak
The long black spidersilk cloak was painstakingly handstitched from only the finest spidersilk. The material has to be one of the softest ever created and the attention to detail is beyond reproach.

Weight: 1lbs
Capacity: 150lbs
Casts a form of invisibility once a day without requiring MIU, the cast seems to last me about 40-45 minutes if left undisturbed.

You close your spidersilk cloak around your body and feel embraced by the shadows.
Your spidersilk cloak seems to be alive, as it closes around your body, you feel as if it has obscured you from all view.

You throw back the opening of your spidersilk cloak, allowing a better view of yourself.

You pull the hood of your spidersilk cloak close about your head, obscuring your fine features from all those around you.

You push back the hood from your head, revealing your fine features.

Jesus. I am just glad it is in circulation. 618 boots? I need that. WHY NOT ME?

a golden eonake ankh

3x a day 130

*snicker*

I'd expect an ankh to have something like 1101 or 305 or 318 on it... not 130.

But, then again, I suppose this ankh's in a fantasy world that doesn't live by real-world definitions....

The Ponzzz
05-07-2007, 11:46 PM
Wait, you have an ankh that casts 318 irl!?!?!

I remember most of those items.. by now I had figured they were long gone in the trash heap of retired characters.

Maybe I should finally get off my rear and go after that ankh.. just for the silly factor.

I thought this for a couple of the items atleast. Thought they were either gone for good, or gone for a long long time...

Nice to see a lot of older items for sale. And it's nice people are giving others the opportunity to buy them!

is the big job ticket still redeemable?

Does that 50k allow us to rub it anywhere? If so, meet me at Cholgar's...and bring the ankh.

While I won't go into details about it, unless FallenSaint says I can, yes, they are.

Yeah, Khaladon has several posts on the officials saying you can assist and redeem them. Apparently the GMs are trying to get rid of all I.O.U.'s from the bad ole' days. The assist and redeem method gets you one alter, officially, although I have heard more than one person claim these "big job tickets" convinced the GM assisting them to toss them three or four alterations. Heard the same story for giving these to a merchant at a festival. May not be able to get away with that anymore. Believe the official-official redemtion is sadly just one alteration.

Heh, no, but the definition of ankh is life, so I'd think that an ankh in GemStone would have something to do with keeping or restoring life. *shrug*

Since when is an alteration a big job? They seem to be screwing people.. again.

TheEschaton
05-08-2007, 08:03 AM
Back in the day, alterations WERe a big job, and 3-4 were an auction quality sort of thing.

Considering people would pay 15M-20M or so for merchant auctioned work back when merchants actually GAVE/USED them(3-5 alteration pieces), yeah that was worth a big job ticket.

Still, I do think 1 alteration for it is fairly lame.

Splendid.

The Ponzzz

It's not that GMs are screwing anyone over, it was just to get the rules out on the table, because everyone pretty much thought different things of these tickets.

Kinduva penelty for holding onto them for over 10 years!

About time Jaelus and Tamral quit hoardin these.. By the way the backsword is self mana 307 not 310. But for that person who was bidding I believe Reife still owns a self mana 310 set of vambraces. Quite a few people have asked me what I knew about these so here's what I can remember.. The 618, 916, 509 and 307 are the NEW style ones which are double mana and chance of cursing.. The rest are all old style I think. You will have to check for us.

fallenSaint

Right then, posted some more info best to my knowledge. Will get more concrete info and minor stats this weekend as time allows. Oh and a slew of rough minimums. Feel free to counter offer as some of them are flexible.

I guess that is Khaladon bidding on the boots, right?

AestheticDeath

A witchwood-hafted black golvern handaxe
5x and Heavily Crit Weighted
Double Mana to cast and MIU required

Self mana 509

Did they modify these? I could have sworn when I owned one, that it was old style. Maybe I am crazy. But I was pretty sure I didn't have to have MIU for it as well. My guys were always pretty young.

fallenSaint

Heh, I remember selling you that poison dagger as a deadly black eog dirk.

Nice price on that handaxe. Ardwen outbid me on one of them when it was for sale a few years ago. Jerk.

fallenSaint
05-31-2007, 08:07 PM
Bid up on full plate.

fallenSaint
06-02-2007, 01:06 PM
