How long before crimes are forgotten?

I'm wanted in Wehnhimer's and want to return at some point, for committing murder how long must you wait before being able to go back without going to jail?

Believe 6 months.

Crimes stay indefinitely, someone I know waited two years and it didn't go away. I'm pretty sure it's permanent.

Well, all mine are gone, and I had 14 cases of petty theft, a murder and 3 endangerment.

Your arrest record does clear.. but until you are arrested they stay.

Crimes that you haven't been arrested for will stay until you get arrested.

I still have an outstanding warrant for Petty Theft in icemule that I got back in 2002.

Never got arrested for it, but it's still there...i'm sure it'll catch me offguard one day...at the worst possible moment.
