WTF?! I'm disappointed in Anticor, it's dicks like you who make Gemstone a bitch to exist in. I don't particularly like Warclaidhm, but you people smash yourselves against him, like it's okay to be the most worthless piece of shit you can possibly be, just because he's around. "Hey, it's Warclaidhm, I think I'll forget everything I ever learned about how to act respectably just for him" (because clearly, he's worth a lot of time and effort, you people who "hate" him have proven that.) Anticor, up till now i had a lot of respect for you, not that you care i'm sure. What a fucking asshole you are. Get him his shit back...do what's right, not what would be fun for an 8 year old school yard bully. Use some sense numb nuts.

Warcladihm is possibly the most self-centered person around. When it's HIM being scammed, he cries and moans and plays the innocent little victim. When HE"S the one scamming, it's someone else's fault for being dumb enough to let him take advantage of that.

So how does that make Anticor an asshole?

Ooga, I understand how you might come to such a conclusion if you are operating with only a small percentage of the history that Warclaidhm's player has.

If you are really interested in seeing the depth of his myopic egocentrism and the extremely "pliable" ethics he employs then please do yourself a favor and at least read all the threads about him on both these and the old PC boards.

If after reading his own words you can still feel the same way i will still totally disagree with you but at least allow that you are making an informed decision rather than a more ractional defense of someone who it seems to you is getting picked on or something.

Untill then I must place your comments with those of others who have come to the defense of him and later come to regret it.

To facilitate your research I leave the address for the old boards below.

Many people have tried to be charitable towards warclod, Ooga. I have, and he betrayed me, as he has countless others before me. His total lack of social agility and his disregard for people who are attempting to help him are unreal.

After sitting here at work, reading this thread, I guess the only thing I can say is that I imagion that Warclod is totally fucking bitchslap ass retarded.

Maybe I'm not feeling very spiteful tonight, or I might just be tired of feeling angry/betrayed/righteous, but I agree that the claidhmore should be returned if it hasn't been.

'An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth' used to be my motto, but I think I'm a little battle-fatigued these days. I wouldn't let the little bugger scam me or anyone else if I could help it, but I don't see any point in staining my own mind with the knowledge that I hurt a puny, weak little asshole. I've never interacted with him because of how much everyone dislikes him and I know there's got to be a reason, I'd just like to know what it is. So feel free to u2u me to give me some examples of what has led to this um...extreme hatred.

Its has been established and accepted by Anticore that his actions, while within the law of policy, are dishonest and malicious. It is the majorities opinion that Warclaidhm should be taught a lesson due to his past behavior, and it would seem this incident is a good form of punishment.

Ranger, are you becoming an NCO or an officer?

How about out of all the people I have given free gear to he is the only one to turn around and sell it.

Spelled him up once and he wouldn't leave me alone after.

He sells shit for way, way more than it's worth and when someone calls him on it he whines like a bitch.

Hi, I'm armor duping, have we met? Ohh and he didn't get in trouble for that bullshit either.

Ooga Chaka,

I am a very patient person and one that you have to work at to piss off. He worked at it. He's reaping what he sows. The "quit being an 8yr old bully" crap won't do more than make me chuckle. His mouth wrote checks that his ass can't cash. I don't feel bad, I won't feel bad, and chances are he won't be able to convince me to give it back. Warclaidhm grates against everyone, he thumbs his nose and doesn't pay it a second mind. Maybe now he will. He's playing a character that's in his 20's at least, guess what when you play an adult, piss off other adults, don't expect to be coddled like a child.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If it was anyone else I would have picked up the weapon to prevent it being taken then I would have handed it back.

There are only 2 people on my "red" list. Warclaidhm and his little pet of a sorcerer. I don't know if the sorcerer is him or not but acts like it and he pissed me off enough to be red listed.

He's the same ass clown that cast a spell at Bob, missed, ran, and then warned ME from another room.

Parkbandit
01-08-2004, 08:29 AM
At last count, I have 148 characters on my red list.

These are the characters that Falgrin will drop whatever he is doing and steal them blind. Granted, probably most have since left the game... the list has been in the making for as long as I found out about highlighting.

MrThorbizzle
01-08-2004, 09:27 AM
In the interest of obtaining some resolution, how about this.

Everyone scammed by Vorthais and Warclaidhm comes forward and demands their money back. If Warclaidhm repays ALL debts, and apologizes publically on the amunet for each instance, we can take this as a real change in character, and give Anticor reason to give the weapon back.

Of course Warclaidhm will claim that he has no money, but we all know that is a lie.

Warclaidhm has tried to befriend as many high powered sorcerers as he possibly can. He's under the impression that they will protect him when he does something stupid.

That's been proven false time and time again. It's widely known that Sorcerers have mushy heads. :)

AnticorRifling
01-08-2004, 10:57 AM
This isn't a high powered sorcerer I think it's like 30, and yeah it's Swordfyre.

I should make a character called Falchionflare so we could be Warclaidhm, Swordfyre and Falchionflare the three weapons of DOOM!

Like I said to him last night... when death means something, he's gonna be spending a lot of time eating worms. Til then, its just a temporary inconvience for him. Maybe a deed (doubtful), and possibly some xp in his otherwise empty head, and finding a cleric (which there are many).

But later... when it costs him DR points... I intend on giving him enough to put him in debt for a very, very long time.

Halfsilver
01-08-2004, 04:33 PM
With pretty much everyone promising him the same thing, I'd imagine that he'll aquire too many DR points to ever recover. Maybe he'll leave then.

We can only hope.

I wish Anticor would throw that weapon in the well. No I take that back. I wish Anticor would tell him he can have it back and when he gets there, THEN throw it in the well.

Knowing Warclaidhm and his antics only strengthens my belief in Karma.

I also like the idea someone had about making him repay EVERYONE he has scammed and publically apologizing to them individually, if he wants his weapon back.

Actually he didn't miss. It was like 134 endroll. But yes, he did run, come back, then run with Arianette in his group the entire time.

Two minutes later Arianette runs in, and obviously had "Bob if you tell me to shut up again I'll rip your throat out" copied because she said it in under a second, and runs out. She had a group, which was undoubtedly Swordfyre, because then they hunted together on the glacier.

Awright Anticor, i haven't read the link ya posted yet, i'm about to. I'll just say before hand that whatever i learn/see therein will not change my opinion that by acting this way, you simply create more drama. You don't teach people to act a certain way by exhibiting the traits in that person that you want to see changed. It's simply not how things work. Essentially, what you are doing in my opinion is teaching an "accused" (I say this based on my own experiences, and don't doubt the validity) con-man, that conning people and/or ripping them off in other fashions is okay in Gemstone. You are making it seem more like "hey, some people do it, some people don't, whatever floats your boat." And that's not the case, or if it is, I've missed out on a huge chunk of the intended atmosphere within the game. I remember when i first started playing, I was a lot like what it sounds like Warclaidh is now (by the accounts of those who hate him) I remember selling an empty heavy backpack that was closed and allegedly had some odd 5-7x weapons yack smack blah or whatever you know? On several occasions, and i was happy to make off with the other person's coins. It was not through being "taught a lesson" that i came to be the citizen that i am today. It was through people showing me how to act...through their own actions. People in Gemstone have shown me many many aspects of gameplay that i couldn't have given a shit less about 6 years ago when i first came to the game. Now I have a sense of what the community is really all about in there, and how my own actions effect this rather easily influenced gaming environment. Any way...off to go read about Warclaidhms misdeeds...mebbe post more later.

These people that come in here knowing absolutely dick about Warclaidhm (which is pretty hard to believe) who get on their high horse and start flinging around opinions like it's their job seriously piss me off.

I know he has several screen names because he has to change them everytime he opens his mouth. But honestly, is it that hard to do a little legwork or maybe hold back before we have to hear OMFG ANTICOR IS A DICK!!11

It's bullshit.

Furthermore, ANYONE sticking up for Warclaidhm after all he has done is a pile of shit. I will lay down a blanket statement for all of you, to spell out how I really feel. You suck. There cannot possible be any circumstances that justify your position. Sorry if I offended you, but you probably should grow a pair.

This person deserves no sympathy, and should be encourage to drive their turbocharged scooter head on into a fast moving car/bus/elephant. The world will be a better place without the amorphous blob behind a desk that we call "Warclaidhm".

That was an ignorant to say. I defended Warclaidhm's right to get his weapon back because I believe it a basic right of every player in the game. I dont give a good god damn about him, I was arguing about the laws of possession. Not many people at all were defending Warclaidhm the player, but rather the situation that he was in. I understand that passions arise in circumstances involving this person, but I ask that you try to refrain from making statements such as the one above.

If you read my earlier posts, I was saying that policy or no, what he did was deceitful and with knowing malicious intent. Once he acknowledged that this was true, and he (along with most everyone else) would not have done it to any other person, I relented.

I believe it should be against policy based on a situational evaluation by the GM's. If they decide he should not be forced to give the weapon back, they better be damn sure to make note of that incident, taking into account every time said person gets into a conflict.

Seems to me like that's exactly what the GMs did. After all the people Warclaidhm screwed over, he then expected to be treated well? Yes, GMs make a note of things like that. After all the shit he pulled to then go to the GMs looking for help probably just got a response of 'Too bad, so sad. Buh-bye.' Followed by a lot of snickering behind the computer screen.

He's ALWAYS making posts like that in the marketplace, about this and that and then "but someone scammed me out of X amount of silvers"

First off, why does he feel the need to post that publicly? And second, why would the seller give a shit? You wanna sell your item, and if someone wants to buy it you don't give a shit if they lost 4m or won 300m on Dragonbones, you just wanna sell em your item.
