Haven't touched liquor for something like... I don't know, since June. I figured I could handle it tonight.

I vowed to never drink again after my trip to Aruba. My girl and I were sitting at this small outdoors bar at our hotel - I was downing peach schnaps (disgusting, but they didn't have much of a selection), she was downing some kind of chocolate alcoholic milkshake. I think we each had at least 10 drinks ($150 bar tab)

That night I threw up so much I broke most of the capularies around my eyes, and the white part of my eyes were bloodshot red. And the same the next day... and the next day... and the same after we got back from our trip.

I went to the doctors (more to see if there's anything to speed up the recovery process) and he said that the same thing happened to him once in college. A week later it started to clear up, by two weeks it had finally gone away. I got teased by people at work for the entire time (and a little while afterwards).

Since then (late 2001) I've drank, but not enough that I'd be in trouble of throwing up.

The facts you are speaking of are:

This post brought back memories. I had one of those years ago. Doing shots of tequila (still the smell of tequila makes me nauseous) and chasing it with beer. I was sick for 3 days and its a wonder I didn't die of alcohol poisoning. My girls and I did beat the guys at that contest, at the time it was important. I didn't leave the toliet for 6 hours and lay perfectly still in a dark room for 24 hours and couldn't eat for 3 days. I didn't drink at all for 6 months, and never have drank to an excess since. Life is a learning experience.

Stick with beer. Here's my motto, anyone can kill themselves with hard liqour, it's easy to drink that much. If you can stomach enough beer to kill yourself you're a champ. I believe it to be almost impossible to kill yourself drinking solely beer just because you'd start yacking because your stomach would fill up so much.

I've cut all hard liquor out of my diet, except yagermister. Haven't had a problem since.

Anyone purposely drink too much too fast in the attempt to get sick to punish yourself? Done that several times. Weed is soooo much better than alcohol.

I dunno, I often wonder if my subconscious is trying to kill me. Binge drinking is shitty. I have no desire to drink when I do get drunk, either. I just do it, because I'm either urged to or egged on in some form. Every time I do, I end up... in a very bad place. like a pool of vomit.

I blame her, she took me out, got me all drunk... passed out after... I personaly think I got raped, but god works in funny ways huh, too bad it was my bed, oh well, makes a hell of a story to tell my grand kids when they're old enought to understand. I like the feeling of being buzzed from alcohol, not completely wasted and I hate the feeling of being high. As for purposely making myself sick, no way in hell, throwing up from alcohol is the worst kind of throwing up, especially when you start getting dry heeves.

Yes, its about the worst thing I can do to myself without leaving permanent damage. Saw some girl I liked making out with another guy after she suckered me into going to this party. I knew I wanted to just lie there in pain for a couple days so I polished off half a gallon of Bacardi Lemon in about an hour or so. Did the trick nicely.

DISCLAIMER: Not looking for sympathy. Simply giving an example of a situation.

I enjoy the stuff alot, even after being deathly ill off it several times. When I turn 21 I plan to regularly have a glass of mostly sprite with a little of the stuff mixed in. You should give it a try in light amounts, it makes for sweet mixed drinks with Sprite or Seira(sp) mist.

Good to hear. I tend to let stupid shit get me down really easy. Other than that, I have alot of free time, am in good health, and am paying the bills. Hard to complain about anything when there is so many in the world who would kill to have half of what I do.

Before. I partied heavily after I turned 16, I drank every day just about from 17-18 and partied almost every weekend from 18-21. After I turned 21 I drank every day for about 3 months. Now I'll drink once every 2-3 months, if even.

I threw up on Jake's feet on my 21st birthday, and he *still* married me. What a guy, huh?

Other than that, I can only think of two times I've been drunk enough to puke - on the night of my graduation from NAU and the night of my first sorority formal in college.

I drank a whole fifth of tequila myself that night and puked it up, along with the nacho cheese doritos I'd been eating, in the bathroom. It was truly disgusting.

Heh, homecoming the lacrosse team that im on was up and drinking by 8AM, we had a pallet of beer and 3 kegs. We were done the keg race by 9:00 AM. The day got blurry from there on. Since then i have cut back a bit but am slowly working my way back up. Its great to be a freshmen rookie...

What the hell is the obsession with drinking? I don't like it, I don't want to do it. The only reason I did the other night is because I was called a pussy and many other things because I refused to. And if you tease me about caving, I'm going to piss in your birthday cake.
