-Crafted from mithglin
-3x (+15)
-BONUS of 10 to strength
-BONUS of 10 to stamina recovery
-Almost innumerable charges remaining

Are the spikes functional?

I do not believe so. I assume this would have come up in the loresong? I've never had spiked armor, but my understanding is they react offensively when the wearer is hit. This has never happened when my paladin was wearing them.

Offensive flare when manuevering... (bearhug, tackle, bull rush, etc) and defensive flare when HIT.
I BELIEVE if it is spike-flared at all, it shows up under inspect

The reason I asked is because I believe I remember the auctioneere saying that the set's spikes are NOT functional, which is a load of crap.

With the CML changes, this is nice! You can sit pretty with surge at 2 ranks and have a great bonus.

Well, I'll learn one of those listed combat manuvers temporarily and see if anything happens. Thanks, Lomoriond.

Just INSPECT it, it will show the spike there.
You will see...
You also notice that it is spiked.

Question: How's enchanting enhancives work again? Points only? Wizard? Not at all?

Points only. It once was Wizard ETable. That changed.

Yes, points only for enchanting this. Its 2000 points to make it 4x if I recall correctly. The winner will have an option of paying an extra 4.5 million and I'll use a scroll to enchant it to +20.

It actually might be 3000 points to ET it. I've seen enhancives cost the extra 1000, even though PCALC claimed it didn't.

Bleh, thanks for letting me know. I had indeed used pcalc, and a couple other people I spoke to said that enhancives didnt carry the extra charge, but nobody that would actually make the decision.

It varies, that's all I know for sure!

Can enhancives be flared? IMHO that'd be a much better application of the points than an extra 5 DS.
Wish I had the money, that plate would look damn sexy on my gnome!
