Open Aiming

I can't seem to find this anywhere on the officials but I recall perception being the only skill aiding open aiming.

Big debate over that. Ambush may or may not help. Good luck getting anything remotely specific out of the GMs on this issue.

I've been told its:

Perception - aids DS as well as aiming from the open.

Ambush - aids aiming from the shadows.

CM/Perception -> From open

The reason I ask is because I don't want to drop 1m exp worth of post cap training into 1x ambush for my bard if I'm only going to get 15 AS.

However, if it helps me aim . . . I'd be more inclined to pick it up.
