I really think its time for a break from GS again. I've spent the whole day ready to bite someone's head off and I just can't believe I'm paying for this.

That's why I just pay for enchanting, it stings less that way I think.

This is the SOLE reason why I sold my lvl 60 enchanter. I blew up two shields. Both on the 7x cast, one due to carelessness (skipped my normal routine to check for wounds/scars/encumbrance) and the other due to the 'normal' mechanics of a failure.

Too much time invested and wasted. I'd rather buy what I need than go through all that BS again.

I have one question... why did it take you a year to complete a 7x enchant? I know my mage can enchant from 4-7x in roughly 5 months... 0-7x in about 7 months... why such a long time?

I hate enchanting and don't do it anymore. Im finishing my friends falchion but after that, fuck it. 4x for life! games to easy anyways.

I was on step 5 of the 7x and I left for about a month. The enchant melted off and I had to redo it. The rest may have simply been some slippage over the course of the year. It went from 2x to almost 7x.
