So what do you want for christmas, if it's still in your style/desire to have gifts?

What will you buy yourself because you think you deserve it?

how much you'll spend overall?

hmm, mistakes...

Cold Air Intake for my car, new floormats for my car, exhaust for my car.

I don't know, a beer?

On others, usually between $1k - $1.5k combined. I really don't buy gifts for myself much, except maybe with those gift cards everyone better give me. I was going to buy a few computer games, but I found them all online. I love free stuff.

You drive a Honda Civic, Wezas?

I'm getting semi-practical stuff this year. Gripfast boots, a minifridge, and a kickass coffee maker from my Dad. And just general kitchen stuff from my Mom, most likely a crock pot, pressure cooker, and some decent knives. I am getting one kickass Christmas present a little early, though. Ziiiiiiiiing

Growing up sucks.

I do not celebrate Christmas, as it were, but many of my family members and friends do. I usually end up dropping between $1500 and $2000 US on gifts and entertaining. Although it is not MY holiday, it is a joyous time for so many that one cannot help but get caught up in the happiness of the season.

This year, I am in the process of redecorating my living room. Were I celebrating Christmas, that would be my gift to myself, I guess. :D

I am getting a guitar and all the equivalent equipment hopefully.
The Metallica Binge and Purge box set, and a number of other cool things.
My gf and I went to see David Bowie two nights ago which was sort of her present. I think she is taking me to see Metallica at Xmas. I think....I hope. Otherwise she will get a slap :D

I want stuff from my amazon.com wishlist and clothes, I guess. And shoes. I need to add to my collection. 33 pairs just isn't enough!

I most likely won't buy myself anything, as I am a poor poor college student that is more concerned with eating than buying herself things.

Hmm, overall I'll probably spend around $500... which will all come out of my savings to buy presents for friends and family.

No, just bought a Nissan Spec-V two months ago and found some nice Nismo floormats (metal underneath the pedals). Need the CAI & Exhaust for horsepower and sound.

Just get some decent alloys for it.

Juiced up fourbangers are ridiculous.

Then buy 18" alloys.

Everyone, aside from morons, laughs at the guy driving the $15,000 rice rocket dressed up to be something it's not.

I'm asking for an MP3 player, and possibly Kohl's/other decent clothing stores gift certificates.

Not sure how much I'll spend on others, as I have no clue what I'll be getting them until I get it for them.

Can you say that with a straight face while still having Selphie as your avatar?

Final Fantasy the Original was the Only Good Final Fantasy.

It doesn't make any god damn sense to have MORE THAN ONE *FINAL* Fantasy. But with the plot from the first one, I can see how it would happen.

I want a working NES for Christmas. Sure, I have a busted up old one and an emulator, but it's just not the same.

They just take the names to sell more, but come on, ff6j (ff3 us) was DAMN great.

Get ff3j, if you haven't played it yet, BEST game ever made as it's very complete.

Latrinsorm
11-20-2003, 11:35 AM
Is that the one with Cecil the Paladin guy?

FF3 US was way too damn long and you'd never find everything without a guide. The great thing about FF1 was it accelerated. It took you like 20 hours to get to the first fiend then 20 more hours to beat the game. Unless you were teh suck (or, you know, like 9 or something).

Xcalibur
11-20-2003, 11:39 AM
ff3 us is with Terra, and NO real lead character.

ff4 was with cecil, which was really linear.

I know i'm about to get yelled at for this, but my favorite FF was 8. Followed closely by 3 and then 7, and then 5.

You mister are not a good gamer

FF8 is the worse FEMININE ff ever made (beside the hand fighter's limit which was good, and that techno beat music when you were laguna) rest is TOTAL uper crap

I prefer imagining myself having sex with celine dion to ever play that game again (beside listening to the techno beat music when you're laguna and the hand fighter (zeal?)'s limit

I loved all the FF's except for Final Fantasy Tactics. I also like Resident Evil and Parasite Eve.

Moist Happenings

I hated FF9 and FF Mystic Quest. Other than that I have no problems with any of the FF games.

And perhaps FF8 was the most "feminine" of them all, but I liked the story.

In conclusion, go to hell! :P

I played a FF once, can't remember which though, took forever because of the story line and it kept cutting out the fighting, I got pissed and quit after about 25 minutes.

On Topic: I'll probably wind up spending between 1 to 2 grand on others, possibly more depending on how the next month goes.

Myself however, I'm getting a new vehicle, DVD player, refurnishing my room.

For presents I'll get girly stuff (lotion, body washes, make-up, ect.) candles, shoes, clothes, DVD's, CD's ect....

I'd like a 40GB iPod. Only 5 of you need to pitch in $100. Or, 50 of you $10. :)

As for what I am spending... this Xmas is tight. Blah... Got mom and dad... everyone else may get cards.

We got all our families hand made ceramic Casa di *namehere* signs. My little elf will get some needed clothes (she just keeps growing!), toys, and such. We had her portraits done last weekend so family will get those as well as being our presents.

I got my husband a hand made wire and battery radio that works better than store boughts! Its really cool. Just wound metal and speakers. He is also getting a Raider's flag, Indiana Jones Collection, and some computer games.

My wish list is some books I've been wanting, a few nice sweaters I saw on VS, the Alias DVD sets.
