Lol, 131Mbps huh? Unless you've got a gigabit ethernet cable modem (do they make these?), no can do. Bandwith test sites are pretty dumb if you're on anything >= DSL. Either way, nice to have a fat pipe.

I was joking at how retarded the test site was.

I noticed the cable man up on the pole outside and asked him whats up. He said people in the neighborhood were complaining about speeds and they were doing maintenance and installing some new shit. He also told me their main hub for the area is 50 feet from my house which I was happy to hear.
There was an immediate difference after watever the fuk he did.

Why's that? I have ( :( ) 5 Mbps internetz, and my download speeds reach pretty close to it - around 4.4+ Mbps from good servers.

Why's that? I have ( :( ) 5 Mbps internetz, and my download speeds reach pretty close to it - around 4.4+ Mbps from good servers.

uh.. what are you talking about? Did you misread what I said? "FastEthernet" is 100Mbps... since he stated he's using cable modem then he's not getting over 100Mbps connection to the WAN... I believe cable has something like a 14Mbps theoretical top speed.

My downloads from here normally register at 13.5 Mbps using numion which seems normal considering I have their 15Mbps down service.

Yeah I guess I thought you meant you needed a 1000Mbps connection; 1000Mbps modem makes sense, I just figured you were saying that connection speed was required to hit 130Mbps download speed. My bad!
