So, with the CMAN changes out there, I'm thinking of revising my setup. My warrior is primarily a 2-hander.

Currently, at 41, I have:

Skill name Mnemonic Ranks
Specialization I wspec1 3
Coup de Grace coupdegrace 3
Weapon Bonding bonding 5
Combat Mobility mobility 1
Surge of Strength surge 3

Available Combat Maneuver Training Points: 7
Unlearning Combat Maneuver Training Points: 8

Coup is a wonderful ability and lasts a lot longer now, but I've been hunting undead a lot, so it has limited usefulness; I've been thinking about dropping it. It seems like if I can get something to 30% HP, I can usually kill it without a stamina drop. 5 ranks in it, though, would be nice.

I love it on Escort tasks, though.

Been thinking about picking up:

PMastery - The less I get hit, the better
Side-by-Side - For RP and technical reasons
Surge/WSpec - Same AS RoI; but it's a trade off between encumbrance vs. passive bonuses and CML bonuses.

Any thoughts or other recommendations? I'm a tackle master; I don't really need any other takedowns, and I'm working on picking up Feint in the guild, eventually.

You might want to consider Surge for encumberance reasons then.

I see nothing wrong with sticking with 1 rank of surge to use in 911 situations.

I don't know why so many people focus on AS. Maneuvers are there for spice, what could be more boring than 4 AS for 18 CMP? Get something fun.

People focus on AS to annoy you. Surge is useful for a lot more than raw AS.

I've got
Coup 3
Wspec 3
Bond 5
Surge 5

I'm pretty happy with the Coup/Surge synergy. I am in turn a lot more MO heavy than most people, however.

Get something fun.It's a hard balance for me to settle on... on one hand, I really don't notice much of a difference with the extra AS. On the other, I never found myself using the standalone CMANs.

But I agree. I'm going to go diverge.
