Cost of Alterations

How much silver can a person expect to have carry on themselves when waiting for an alterer (not including materials and so forth)? It seems that most of these guys don't have much time for waiting for you to make a trip to the bank and back.

Eh, it varies. Average costs can run anywhere from 10K to 25K. Not normally more than that, though I always carry a note of at least 200K on me to cover alteration costs for the entire event. Sometimes, they will offer a runner to get the money for you, so you can try that as well.

I've only met one merchant so far at the festival, but she charged 20k to deepen my flower basket from medium to large. I've never yet seen a merchant that wouldn't change a note for someone though, so I'd advise you to just carry one around like Jolena suggested.
