Yep, they will, though they are no longer the solo factor any longer, though I am not sure it will help you become alerted if a Rogue is using sense or not. I am guessing no to this. PP will help noticing the actual lift however.

I'd not train in it however, just for this reason. I'd train PP simply to steal. Demons, a cursed gem, closed container etc all help you stop a thief. So does a sensible name.
