I think what he's referring to is that both have the same silver cost, but are $115 different cashwise...

If I had to take a guess, i'd say the cash is worth more to him and he'd rather sell the rogue? Hence cheaper cash price...

I've never had an issue with GSAuction's price. I've bought a few items from them recently, and a few in the past. They are fast and reliable. will let you test the item(s), easy to communicate, etc. If spending an extra 500k-2mil when it comes to high end items makes it so the deal is good, I'm down for that!

Quite honestly, we don't find the market price and then mark items up an extra % to make additional profit.

So...if you see something you're interested in and don't agree with the price, most definitely send an offer to sales@gsauctions.com or an IM to one of us and I'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement.

I've been out of the loop for a year or so now, did Simu finally convince e-bay to pull account/silver sales?

I know it was always frowned upon, but it used to be e-bay didn't care as long as you put in the disclaimer about it being the property of Simu and you are merely charging for the time involved, or something like that...

We do try to price items/characters according to the market price - generally by looking at similar items for sale or that have sold (on www.gsauctions.com, playershops, ebay, play.net, PC forums, etc.). Quite honestly, we don't find the market price and then mark items up an extra % to make additional profit.

I'm not bashing you guys or anything... I bought from you guys in the past... and was also pleased with the results... I wouldn't call the prices mistakes though... because its the difference of the item and the time spent to aquire said item... For example the 6x full leathers you guys have for sale...

6x fulls = 3M
5000 premium points = 27M
the leathers = 35M
5 million additonal profit =)

it is acceptable though, since I'd be willing to pay 35M because of all the hassle involved in finding them

ebay instituted a policy saying no virtual items can be sold on it. More from the wow auctions and such. Simu doesn't give a flying fuck if you sell or buy items or characters.

For this post, and the subsequent posts referring to it. I might mention that the two characters are for sale by different people, and they use different conversion rates for silvers.

I am selling the rogue. And since I don't normally like dealing in silvers, I have a low conversion rate.

That being said - I think both characters are pretty nice. And worth the asking price.

You see, I did not look that far into it. The original post was never meant to be a bash, merely an observation. However, I didn't look far enough into it to notice that they were being sold by two people. What I get for assuming things. One more little lesson I suppose.
