Look at this dumb son of a bitch. The following is a log from the invasion Monday out on the glacier on the way to Icemule. At least I lived through this stunning lapse in thinking, or this post would have had teeth. This is 5 players down in a room where around 13 people were alive, to repel the horror of some level 40-60 critters.. Not exactly a huntmaster. What say you?

[Snowy Plains, Deep Freeze]
Groping your way through the driving snow, you stumble upon an enormous heap of jagged, ice-glazed rocks. Even though they shelter your body, nothing will rid you of the screaming, incessant wind which threatens to drive you insane and flails the exposed skin of your body. You also see an enormous rotting black hound, an enormous rotting black hound, an enormous rotting black hound, an enormous rotting black hound, an enormous rotting black hound, an enormous rotting black hound, an enormous rotting black hound that is lying down, the Daig disk, some rusted steel half plate, a tarnished flail, a vicious spectral swordsman that is lying down, a vicious spectral swordsman, a savage spectral battlerager that is lying down, a vindictive spectral marauder, a vicious spectral swordsman that is lying down, a savage spectral battlerager, a vindictive spectral marauder that is lying down, a vicious spectral swordsman, a savage spectral battlerager that is lying down, a savage spectral battlerager, a vicious spectral swordsman, a badly damaged silver box, a weathered modwir box, a tiny pink pearl, a bunch of other stuff.
Also here: Lord Edaarin who is lying down, Lord Hevinsbane who is lying down, Talman who is lying down, Lord Svardin who is lying down, Landceal who is lying down, the body of Lord Swordfyre who is lying down, Great Lady Alishala who is lying down, Tsin who is lying down, a stunned Renowned Lord Chazym who is lying down, Porcell who is lying down, Prospera who is lying down, the body of Warraxx who is lying down, the body of Terilaen who is lying down, the body of Lady Michiko who is lying down, Xeniphite who is lying down, Perigourd who is lying down, Lady Zalexys who is lying down, the body of Drakam who is lying down, the body of Bonespur who is lying down

Powerful and greedy is fine - absolute disregard for your fellow adventurers just because you are big enough to get away with it........temporarily.......is not.

Thats fine. Being an OOC ass about it isn't. Neither is having the worst fashion sense in the game (yes, worse than Zimzum).

I have come to realize I fucking hate Tsin. I dislike Drizzsdt but at least Dusty knows how to play the game where Tsin has no clue.

I dont know about anyone else but I do know Tsin does have access to Emisility. That is a fact. Also a fact, Tsin and Chazym are the same people... This wasnt always so... the guy that played Tsin before is a friend to the guy that plays Chazym... well He decided not to play anymore and gave Tsin to Chazym... The real Tsin comes in every once in awhile but once in a while meaning like once a month... I have hints that Chazym is others but since i dont know for a fact i wont try and spread rumors.

The real Tsin is nice I think.. He can be kind of on the slow side sometimes and doesnt realize a lot of things but I have talked with him on aol and he seems to be ok... But not too smart leaving Tsin in Chazym's hands.

If you going to maim all those people, might as well finish them off as well.

No..the creator of Manodith isn't a schmoe like Tsin.

Tsin's a piece of trash, a lying scum bucket, a worm infested steaming pile of dog shit and I hope by some stroke of luck the player of Tsin logs into Gemstone to find himself in the character manager being asked to choose a race and profession, the dirty bitch.

Maybe not now but I know that at one time Tsin and Manodith were the same.

This is how I know. Manodith was bragging about how much fame he had. Tell him yes you got fame but your still a empath. To me your the same as acantha leaf. Then Tsin comes in and joins the conversation. The conversation then turns to being the oldest rogue.

Weedmage Princess
11-19-2003, 05:58 AM
Oh no, I didn't mean they're not one in the same now..or at one time. All I'm saying is Tsin and the ORIGINAL Manodith are not one in the same.

Edgeleaf and the real Mano are/were pretty good friends...Edge would put Tsin's face through the wall if he got the chance, I'm certain.

Extreme measures yes but in this particular instance, it's understandable.

It's not healthy to hold back like that Weedie.

Thanks for clearing that up for me though cause I thought I remembered them being one and the same at one point.

Yeah..I mean original Edgeleaf and original Manodith in my posts. I know some people didn't like the original Manodith, but he was always nice to me.

Nor did he slum around (Tsin) , find items he knows damn well belong to someone else who told him they lost something and keep it for himself (Tsin), rip bunches of people off, lying about certain items having weighting, etc. (Tsin), stab his friends in the back telling them he lost items people loaned him when he lied to them about getting hacked, only to turn around and sell it for millions and millions later on (Tsin), and countless other crap that I can't even remember right now.

Too bad someone with a lot of computer know how and malicious intent didn't send him a password sniffer, steal all his crap and deed Tsin.

Sorry for holding back *stare*

Tsin has about 50 Minor Elemental spells. Why you ask? Simply to have the best AS and DS possible, which he does. Who cares about redux when you have masterfully damaged plate, a load of toys, a wizard/cleric/empath slave? I know I wouldn't.

I asked him what he wanted to change (since he had every fearture altered already and I really was trying to be nice since my character doesn't personally know him)

I asked if he wanted to look so fucked up or could we change the hair or eyes. He whispered to me that Tsin looks like he does because the player is high when playing GS so Tsin is always high too.

The log is enlightening i'll try and post it tonight if I have time.

My gal then remember where she (IG had heard the name) he slapped a pregnant character for drinking milk at the wine merchant. My gal walked away after that.

OK as promised here is the log from Tsin at feature altere at Ebons... And yes I have cleaned it. If you feel the need for an uncleaned version just mail me.

<<Tsin says, "I need some serious help thinking up an idea.. whisper to me if you have a good idea"
(I asked him who I was after)

Tsin whispers, "can you help me with an idea?"

>Tsin whispers, "I cant' think of anything to get done"

You quietly whisper to Tsin, "what ye need"

exam tsin
You see Tsin.
He appears to be a Half-Elf Pariah from Ta'Faendryl.
He appears to be as old as the hills. He has barely-open, bloodshot blue eyes and naturally sun-tanned skin. He has balding, bone white hair with chaotic spikes. He has a massive bulging chest, broad towering shoulders and a thick muscular neck.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a grinning skull pin, an engraved silver circular tag, a silver-gilded frosted crystal wolf's head charm, a suit of pure silver platemail, a black coat, an etched mithril alloy armband, a Castle Claedesbrim pin, an ostentatious silver pin, a schwartz ring, some padded mithril alloy boots, a detailed mithril alloy medallion, a preserved greater construct eye pin, some mithril alloy battle gauntlets, a transparent urglaes infinity symbol containing a petrified troll heart, a grotesque assortment of mangled ears dangling from a mithril alloy chain, some reinforced mithril alloy sweep-guards, some padded dragging gloves, a mithril alloy bounty hunter's flask engraved with the words "Death is Inevitable", a serrated mithril alloy wristguard, a shadowy black pin, a mithril alloy key case, a dark purple armband displaying two silver crossed swords embedded in a greater construct skull, an intricate mithril pin carved to resemble a dead one-eyed dragon, an engraved mithril alloy armband, a mithril alloy pin, a wacky ale-stained red party hat sporting two elven maiden-shaped ale mugs, a hideous troll skull, a flexible alloy-meshed harness, a mithril alloy axe-frog belt, some wrinkled black pants poorly held up by a dirty mangled rope, a mithril alloy mesh pack, a mithril alloy tower shield, and a silver-chased warhorn.

>You quietly whisper to Tsin, "have you had it all altered??"

You quietly whisper to Tsin, "gads you are scarey... giggle"
>Tsin nods to you.
>whisper tsin you want something realtered??
>Tsin whispers, "maybe.. or a new something"
You quietly whisper to Tsin, "do you really want to be so creepy looking?"
>Tsin whispers, "hehe creepy lookin?"

You quietly whisper to Tsin, " that explains it"

Look! Hulk Hogan in GS! Hurray! Got a new haircut, and I'd hardly call the tan natural, but the rest fits pretty good.

Ok, I saw a ton of false accusations. Here's the story.

The current Tsin was originally known as Recoil. Basically traded/sold him around level 60 and got Tsin who was in his high 60's at the time. So the current owner trained Tsin from 60-160. Nobody else has access to him. He also has Chazym as his main slave. That is all.

I've heard that Chazym admitted to being Sagan or vice versa. Then heard that Tsin says he's got access to Zurrainn and Emislity. So does that mean Sagan = Tsin these days? I've also heard that Chazym/Sagan/Tsin like to double-team people and harass them.

Weedmage Princess

I know for a FACT that one of the Tsins at some point in time has Zurrain. I know because the REAL Zurrain stopped playing GS, pretty much handed over the account to the soiled tampon that is Tsin and said "I wish people would stop IMing me about what he does with Zurrain, I have nothing to do with it, I don't play anymore." ..I think his name (the REAL Zurrain) was Adam or something.

*Edited to add the time period that this stuff took place was around the 2000-2001 mark. Sometime that winter, I believe. I don't know much about what's gone on with the character after that as I stopped playing prime in the early summer of 2001, but all the stuff I'm referring to, all fact, during said time period. I know this cause the mention I made about being loaned armor from a friend and selling it, it was my husband who loaned it to him...he kept telling him someone hacked his account and stole all his stuff out his locker...come to find out he was putting it on other characters (maybe Zurrain, not sure) then he finally sold it. He's done this to other people, too. Then the whole thing where he ripped off Summir's 10x shield and Edge was on his ass...and many other things.

I'm not sure if I turned my auto-log on or off, but there was a time I was at the Illistim barrier, and Tsin had about three or four characters come in and do things for him. It was quite a disgusting sight. One was casting spiritual spells, another running and taking his boxes toward town, a bard was singing to gems for him. Later on he asked if he wanted me to "Bring one of them in" for spells. No thanks.

And yes, he is all about the weed. I've heard him state in group whispers during invasions before about how he had to AFK to smoke a bowl.

01-05-2004, 11:13 PM

This might be late but in my own defense Tsin does NOT have access to Emislity or any other of my characters for that matter. The only person that uses me is Kazami and that is because we are best friends.

Tsin’s player also plays Ress and Kwiksylver. He is greedy, incredibly so, but he can also be incredibly kind. He is also extremely canny unless it suits him to be dense. The guy is a walking dichotomy.

Me? Wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw a horse. He tried to convince a friend of mine that had access to my account for locker storage purposes to dip into my bank account in order to buy a high end item for resale and then to replace the money later. Needless to say my friend didn’t do any such thing.

When he sees dollar signs Tsin is a wretched twit who would sell his own mother for a profit.

Tsa`ah
01-06-2004, 02:37 AM
Tsin ... idiotic and greedy. He will say anything about rarity to sell items.

I have 4 bronze squares, 2 red crystals, and if I can ever find them ... 2 granite triangles. There were more but I used a few like an idiot before AOL unlimited. A friend I made left the game and handed over a good deal of ice age items.

Tsin, and no one else outside of a few GMs, knows how many of these items are in game or how many of them are in inactive lockers.

The only thing you can hold true is that there are not very many and those that have them will probably never use them.

Also, unless I am mistaken, Jesh did indeed have a box of cards that produced random spells and objects. I know for a fact that one card produced a bronze square. He may have sold it or taken it with him, but I doubt he had the only object in game that would produce such artifacts.

Jesh did indeed have a dacre box that certain cards did certain things. I never saw it produce a bronze square, but I do recall getting mass drinks more than once. He would have everyone in TSC join together and in the end you were all holding the drink - laughing and such. I wish I had my logs from that time.

The red crystals, bronze squares and granite triangles all bring back various memories to me. I recall Misdy teaching us to throw the red crystals in the well  but what was more vivid in my recollection was seeing someone throw one into the throne room in archies. As a youngster (before sheer fear) that was impressive.

Or how funny it was to see someone rub a square and just start swinging at each person involuntarily.

I found a granite triangle and for whatever reason rubbed it and went to the rats. For those who don't know, the triangle would cause a blue flame of sorts to shoot out from your body at certain intervals striking a creature or person, heh. I killed someone in the cats with that thing - horrifying as a youngster - funny to recall today.

If I had only known that they would be valuable one day :)

There are a few multiplier weapons floating around still. I've never heard of one that increased flaring damage. The only multipliers I've ever seen added directly to AS. That's not to say that level dependant flare multipliers don't exist though.

Jesh's weapon had a random AS bonus which was up to 2x the user's level. The "random" factor was predictable, however...as it went in a cycle as to what the AS bonus would be. So once you got to know the weapon, you would know what the AS bonus would be on the next swing of it. Therefore you could always keep it set to have 2x your AS on the next swing, if you swung it to a certain point and put it away and waited to use the 2x swing.

If Tsin's "goal" required this kind of behavior, perhaps he should have reevaluated his goal before pursuing it. :)

Anyways, I know for a fact Tsin is okay. He treats his friends well. And being his friend, I will naturally defend him. That's fine. Just don't tell me what kind of morality I use when I try to "get ahead" and don't tell me what I can and can't hate.

Don't worry about it Latrinsorm. Morally bankrupt people often think all others are morally bankrupt as well. Makes them feel that what they do is okay.

And he's nice and not an asshole. Can't say that about the Prince of Bad Taste, Tsin. (King being Zimzum)

Majorly bumping the thread, but I wanted to add a bit of information. Tsin no longer owns or has access to Manodith. Least, so I was told by someone I trust highly.

What's that reason, Soulpie?

Probably because Tsin hasn't had access to Manodith in over 8 months?

What do you need Manodith for when you have a level 98 cleric?

I can't believe Latrin used to talk like that. I forget how long it's been, sometimes.

What's the shelf life on old threads? Is it as good as MREs?

Oh no, I didn't mean they're not one in the same now..or at one time. All I'm saying is Tsin and the ORIGINAL Manodith are not one in the same.

Edgeleaf and the real Mano are/were pretty good friends...Edge would put Tsin's face through the wall if he got the chance, I'm certain.

He did mess him up on several occasions, however he's left wanting and still owed Tsin 2 deaths from Ebon's 03-05(I forget). Not the one with the tiffidy pin(sp)

This thread made me chuckle

Tsin the character doesn't bother me because I ignore him, although Tsin's player however used to drive me insane with his IMs trying to sell me stuff.

I concur exactly, I never should have given him my SN. Gawd did that shit bug me, I still never blocked him, though not sure why...Just ignored him and all was well.

Thought I'd share this, since we all love some good Tsin bashing apparently.

This was from when he was racing to master alchemy and needed all those stones before they were in the guilds. I had an easy way to get a lot of gems for alchemy back then.

You focus your mind on Leff and think:
"I have twelve pink rhodochrosite stones currently. Come to my table at Thrak's."
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

You feel more refreshed.

You see Leff waving at your table, clearly hoping that you will invite him to sit with you. If you would like, you may INVITE Leff to allow him to join you.

You suddenly feel less protected.

You wave at Leff and invite him to come sit with you.

Leff arrives at your table.

Your sense of faith and conviction wanes. You are less sure of yourself.

Leff just gave you 36000 coins which you quickly pocket.

Leff taps his foot impatiently.

Speaking to Leff, you say, "The price has increased... to four thousand silvers a stone."

Leff says, "Oh come on."

You give Leff 36000 coins.

Leff says, "You already increased the price once."

Leff says, "You can't do it again."

You say, "No, it was always three thousand."

You say, "I let you dictate the first transaction on purpose."

You say, "I wanted you to realize I was going to have a consistent supply."

You say, "I do."

Leff says, "Neat."

You say, "You can either do business with me, or not."

Leff says, "3k per is still way more than fair."

You say, "I am not interested in fair. I am interested in supplying the demand."

Leff gazes in wonder at his surroundings.

You say, "I think you can relate."

Leff just gave you 48000 coins which you quickly pocket.

Leff says, "Drop em."

Leff says, "Quit talking."

I like reading the old posts. I was friends with Manodith when I still owned/was Orbstar. He was an ADD kinda odd guy, but alright over all. That describes a lot of people in Gemstone. I did NOT know he had sold to Tsin when he left though, since I had already quit (for a while).
