LTB Paradis prayer beads

I want to buy a set (possibly more depending upon price) of those Paradis prayer beads. Apparently there are 3 variants:

some white monir and dark fel prayer beads
some white monir prayer beads
some dark fel prayer beads

Wait...the Paradis prayerbeads are those the ones that were raffled at Ebons a few years back?

According to Belnia these are from festival of sorrows in 2002... I didn't get the impression that they were raffled because she commented "I wish I still had some of mine" or something to that effect.

The beads have been sold in a few locations. The first that I can pin down was in 2002 when the Icemule Temple was rededicated. After that, they've shown up in various locations. I've gotten a few sets when an NPC held an Arkati-related game in Icemule and they were given out as prizes. They were also sold by a merchant wandering the Ebon Gate festival whose name escapes me at the moment.

The prayer beads are often associated with the halflings, but they are not only from there. And no, Jesse, they're not like the set you own.

Duvval or some such name. I have a set of his dedicated to Luukos and, of course, a set of the raffled prayerbeads that insert the name of whomever you are CONVERTED to in the actions. I'm actually looking to sell one of the sets. I don't really need two. Both are altered to Luukos.

Yeah, that's something close to the name.

I've tried to get a set of the beads sold at the temple rededication altered, but the merchant handed them back to me and said she couldn't do it, not to mention that converts for those appear to be permanent, so those beads would only be useful to other Luukosians.

The other beads may be alterable and would then definitely be useful to other people, so you could probably get more for them, to say nothing for their rarity.

Good thinking Nilandia, those beads are probably worthless, and not necessarily of any value to anyone really except maybe Paradis halflings. Anyone with an unattuned pair should probably just get rid of them.
