Ok... why can't this thing find a home and stay there? I can only imagine how SWEET a blade that would be to use with my 2-hander Paladin.. SHEESH

Basically everyone who can afford it already has a better weapon or they would buy it.

Maybe they don't feel an extra +5 AS is worth it and are paladins who can sanctify their own weapons.

3x claidhmore = ~18-20
4x claidhmore = ~40-80

I've been gone awhile so I might be off on prices, but it's a rather large jump.

Sold the 3x laen claid for around 45.. Think it would cost like 17600 premie points just to enchant a 3x claid up by +4.. That's like 75m or so if you wanted to enchant a claid up by almost a full enchant.. Not to mention you can't really touch the ice age ones or the metals would get changed. Seems worth it to me to spend the extra 20m it costs to get a 4x instead of a 3x..

that claid is badass, wish I never had to sell it, and it's 5m cheaper then what I got for it, and I got cash at 15 per

45 million for a laen claid? Was it extra crit weighted?

Last glaes claid I had I got for 18 million (and sold for less than that, as usual). Not sure if I'd want to pay that much of a premium for an extra +5 AS (of course, if you have the money go for it. It's one of the few items Tsin sells that I consider priced right..of course, if something sells then it's priced right for someone so hey)

Speaking of this claid though, Has the Paladin profession devalued it any? (price wise, not demand wise)

Absolutely, since paladins can sanct their own weapons of any type they wish, and a lot of clerics have turned to spellcasting due to the loss of zealot, etc.

That said, it's a freakin sweet weapon.

My Paladin 2-hander swinger sancted a razor sharp mithril claid, and I like that its old style. The +2 over mithril for the 'razor sharp' just makes it that much nicer. Funny how I paid 750k for it in that merchants shop in Rivers Rest all those years ago. Reminds me, I need to look up Bloodsnake and remind her 'Those pants make your butt look big'. I still have pretty much everything I bought in that silly shop.... but sitting in that room and waiting for 2 days for the merchant to show up for alters.. sheesh!

:)
