I understand our ghetto people as well. It's why I don't meet my parents at the movies anymore if it's going to have any sort of urban setting, I'm constantly called upon to translate.

My mom will be like "What does 'I fend to spend a guap' mean?" Which is fine, but it gets annoying for every line of the movie.

I lived in an area of Syracuse where that's how EVERYONE talked at Wegman's(local grocery store).

I love how in both clips they fucking just break out dancing.

I think it's actually "I'm finna' spend a guap" or some shit, finna being their ghetto ass way of saying "fixin' to" which is some dumb southern way of saying "about to", but seems to be a black thing everywhere too, just all negrofied.

I should kill myself for knowing this.

Never heard of a guap though. While it's probably not based off the fact that El Guapo had lots of money from pillaging Santa Poco before he was taken down on his 33rd birthday, it should be.

I've never understood how a woman could go on national tv and admit that she's no idea who the father of her baby is. I was watching once and this woman was having the THIRTIETH guy tested in her search for her baby's father. Despite being 300% certain this guy was the father, looks like she's gotta go after #31. Gotta feel totally sorry for the kid.

You know you love Western and Upstate NY for this. I even think they've made their way to Binghamton and PA now.

I really can't shop at another grocery store and be ok with it. Everything else always appears to look run down, smell like raw meat and nothing compares to Wegman's Shopper Club Card.
