View Full Version : Sorc Hunting Grounds?

Hey there,

So i'm trying to find something good for Marclar to hunt that's lvl 40 or so since he just turned 39 (god yes, I know I'm slower than molases). I've been hanging around Mule alot just cause it's where I'm most comfortable with, but I'm willing to move if it's good loot/learning. I'd like to stay on this side of the Dragonspine though.

A friend suggested I take on Shan but I'm wondering how I'd do with them ganging up on me. Lesser Ice Giants have been knockin me around a bit when they get their lucky shot in on me. The bounty guild keeps wanting to send me to Frozen Corpses. Any advice? Any tips? Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't Roa'ters pwn him with maneuvers? Sorcerers aren't the most agile, and I sure as hell know Marclar isn't ::chuckle::

Hmm. What about the Glacier in Ta'Illistim? I think that is within range. There are also Wood/Fire? sprites, Vor'taz, ect in the area.

How'd you do against Frozen Corpses? I haven't tried em yet for fear of getting pwn'ed, but If a Sorcerer can take em, I'm game.

Well, though they aren't the issue. It is the Glacei that will own you. Without padded armor, I wouldn't recommend that route. I died a lot back then. You would do well against the Polar Bears, Mammoths, Corpses, Wraiths (though they do boil, you can cast 703), and after a bit of practice, the Tigers. It will always be the Glacei and their shard maneuver that will give you trouble. It IS close to the Trace, though, and is fairly profitable if you can skin and/or stand to hunt with a busted hand from searching the Glacei. The Frozen Corpse and Wraith boxes are good, too.

Shan are 42. And they're a blast for sorcerers
