Russia is set to be finished by Germany, with the assistance of the Turks being an irritant. Turks will probably hold out a big longer, but will be next.

However, I think the decision to reject England's order will hurt in the long run, as now England is more likely to be pinched between France and Germany as opposed to England expanding at their expense while France consolidates Italy and Germany does the same with Russia.

Uhm I am lightened up. I haven't took a bit of this serious despite you wishing I had. If I had really been worried about winning I would have layed teh wood to sergey last fall or the fall before on skeeters advice. Wasn't my intention obviously.

I'm not worried (as I've stated) about the next 6 weeks it takes you to piece me apart. Support orders don't take up near as much time as yapping with yous guys and I've got new work obligations sucking up my valuable time.

Feh, nice try. You can't retreat there. Bruce and I went through this a few days ago.

The Official Rules say -

"A dislodged unit must retreat to an adjacent province that it could ordinarily move to if unopposed by other units. Sometimes a retreat is made deeper into enemy territory.

A unit cannot retreat to:
A province which is occupied
The province from which the attacker came
A province that was left vacant by a standoff during the same turn."

Basically, you have to retreat to Lvn.

I've played 6 or 7 games of Diplomacy at this point, and this is the first time I've seen a single country achieve the victory condition of 18 supply centers. Every other game has ended with a multi party victory.

Thanks thanks. Proof that you do not have to backstab to win. But more than just diplomacy won this game. The Russians and Austrians were a huge help and Italy having missed so many turns was regrettable. Germany eventually had the whole world after it so that worked in Turkey’s favor also. :P

Every deal we tried to work out, Sean, you fucked me on. Granted, they were simple quid pro quo deals, and we never got to the quo so I didn't have to actively GIVE you anything, but you had the whole Eastern continent against you. The only one you didn't try and fuck was Italy.
