Dateline 11/16/2003: TREASURE FEEDER BLOWOUT!!!!!

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! (Ok, in many parts of the world this is Monday already, but you get our drift.)

In GemStone Prime we have about 750 items in the unique treasure feeders. In GemStone Platinum we have about 450 items in the unique treasure feeders. It will take us just as long to make new ones in GemStone IV, as it would to recreate these items. So, instead of wasting them, we've decided to release them all before we launch GemStone IV.

So ... between now and the launch of GemStone IV, we will be cranking up the treasure feeder rates to find all of these treasure items new homes. That's right! Over 1200 unique weapons, armor, rubbables, fluff and more! Enjoy!

And it seems most of it was 'fed' into an area between Mule and the Landings, from what I heard. A treasure area. And if it was, that's yet another bad move on Simu's part. That was a pretty nasty invasion, and a good many people wont or didnt have a chance at anything there. Those in the Nations, those too low train to travel.

The rumors could be wrong, and I hope they are. But if that's where a majority of this supposed treasure bonanza went, I am ticked.
