Yeah, it always seems fucked up when the spell hinderances under 18% or so always seem to kick in repeatedly when you do fail. I think I had my ranger fail seven or eight times in a row in his brig with 35 ranks in Armor.
Funny thing is I never fail repeatedly with the heavier armors and higher hinderance.

Completely off topic but boy your FE layout is goofy looking.

It always bugs me a little when people say this. Its true the probability of getting 3 rolls of 3 is 1 in a million, but so is the probability of getting any given sequence of three numbers. If I posted a log in which I got a 78, a 27, and a 32, I doubt anyone would be surprised, but the probability of getting exactly those three numbers is the same as the probability of getting 3 3 3.
You have to look at why he's posting - he's pissed cause he failed three times in a row. Thats just (7/100)^3 or about 350 in a million. But you have to ask yourself, how many spells do you cast? I have no idea, but I went and looked it up for my wizard, and its about 30 combat spells per hunt, at about 3 hunts per hour, for about an hour a day or so. So thats about 700 combat spells a week. 350 in a million is like 1 in 3300, so you expect to see three failuers in a row maybe once a month or so depending on much you play. If you play more than a hour a day, you'll probably see more.
I know it sucks, but it probably happens about just as much as you would expect. And also, you can see why you don't get it as often for higher failures - I doubt you're casting 30 combat spells a hunt in mbp.

Why would you doubt that? For someone so interested in accuracy, this seems like a silly assumption. Any mid-level paladin ( in MBP) can easily reach if not exceed a measly 30 combat spells per hunt. I know mine does.

I know with 6% base hindrance, 4% Minor Elemental and 3%(?) Spiritual I eat a ton of hindrance. Doesn't bother me, though. I would rather have the lower DFs and what not.
I can completely understand why some sorcerers would find it unacceptable. Especially if you are not in COL.

[Castle Dungeons, Cell]
Three sleeping pallets have been hewn out of stone along each of the cell walls. Etched into the stone above each bed are similar, yet very different runes. One set thin and very precise, another stronger but less artistically drawn. The third set imparts a feeling of foreboding and distress. Set in the center of the room you see a stone pedestal. You also see some rusted manacles and a rotting corpse that appears stunned.

I blew three casts in a row of 635 the other day, only succeeded on the fourth cast. 140 mana to cast nature's fury.

Lets hope on that successful cast you realized how weak it was and decided never to cast it again.
140 mana well spent.

Meh, I follow 635 with an mstrike. It usually does well, considering a lack of lores on the ranger.
I just get the freakiest repeat rolls sometimes. Especially when it involves casting hindrances. :(

I've failed on 635 five times in a row. I'm so glad I don't depend on 616 as much as I blow it on hinderance.
