I watched the Kansas/SIL and the TAMU/Memphis game last night. GREAT FUCKING GAMES...

I'm sad my Aggies lost out. Last few seconds saw a 4 in a row offensive rebound attempt to pull the lead by Memphis and then the ref taking an idiotic 1.1 seconds off the last 3.1 when the inbounds pass was knocked out of bounds at mid-court. That blows my bracket for the most part. :(

that 1.1 was nuts. Only way that's a legitimate call is if the ball bounced in bounds after it was deflected.

It bounced right inside the line after being deflected by a Memphis player's hand. I was thinking maybe .6 seconds... either way, it would have not made much difference since it was Aggie's posession at almost mid-court being down by 1.

What lost it for them was the lack of defensive rebounding in the 2nd half, specifically the last few minutes of the game. Not to mention the accuracy of their shooting dropped from 64% first half to 39% second half. :(

All in all, both games were outstanding, edge of your set quality games.

Not sure how the Ags went so cold in the second half. 1.1 seconds seemed fairly legit given that the clock should have started when the ball was touched, then hit in bounds and the clock would have not stopped until it landed out of bounds. Either way, 2.7 seconds vs 2.0 seconds would not have made any real difference.

Overall, it was an amazing game. I forgot how ties and lead changes there were, but the biggest lead for either team was 5 points. Just a great game.
