I keep trying to play some video from Youtube and get the following answer:

"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player."

I went to the installation site and downloaded/installed the newest version, which leads me to believe that the Javascript is turned off. How do I turn it back on? I can't figure out where to find the correct settings.

Do you have java applets enabled (or at least prompted) for all of your IE security settings?

Did you DL the update from Sun's website?

Looks like I do have the applets enabled. I used the link they had on the page and went through that installation. So I assumed everything was fine.

Sorry, I meant Sun's Java console http://java.sun.com/

BTW, there are a lot of Flash media exploits with java clients, so I never run them (or Qtime apps) on almost any video imaging.

What's your default media player? The problem might be that your computer is trying to run (for example) Media player without any flash plug-ins.

Did you try opening it with a different video application?

These are embedded vids on the web page. I didn't DL them. It seems to also be stopping be from filling in brackets at ESPN for the tourney.
