I'm pretty sure this one was a human rather than a spambot.

I'd be very impressed if a spambot got around some of the new measures I put in about a week ago, and also managed to be smart enough to spam the Off-Topic folder instead of the Forum Concerns/Discussion (which bots do since it's the first visible folder they encounter).

Who knows though...

By the way Kranar - when I was doing that min bid 1 coin auction I had at least one person say that they could not actually complete the registration process here. If I recall correctly he said it was the thing where you have to type what you see or something. Said he tried it 5 times and was told he did it wrong all 5 times.

And several other people wouldn't even bid here because it was so hard to join or something.

I haven't tried making another name or anything since you have started having to put in these measures, so I don't know what the deal is.

Just remembered so I figured I would drop the note. I doubt there is much you can do to make it easier while still preventing the spam bots.
