Man tries to convert lion to christianity - gets pwnd!

TAIPEI, Taiwan - A man leaped into a lion’s den at the Taipei Zoo on Wednesday to try to convert the king of beasts to Christianity, but was bitten in the leg for his efforts.

“Jesus will save you!” shouted the 46-year-old man at two African lions lounging under a tree a few meters away.

“Come bite me!” he said with both hands raised, television footage showed.

One of the lions, a large male with a shaggy mane, bit the man in his right leg before zoo workers drove it off with water hoses and tranquilizer guns.

Newspapers said that the lions had been fed earlier in the day, otherwise the man might have been more seriously hurt ... or worse.

I watched the footage. The man was bitten more than once.

The clip I saw showed a male and female standing in front of him, both with blood on their heads, and the male lunging forward to chomp down on the guys arm ... only to back away and continue staring.

The man did not give up an inched to the lions and continue to sit in the same spot preaching to the lions even after the apparent second (at least) attack.

Ya, he was off his rocker, but he had the largest balls in the world for a day at least.

I think they should shoot the man with some tranquilizers to make it even. He came into their turf and started trouble and they're the ones getting darts?

The zoo should have let the lions eat him.

I was listening to this on NPR and I couldnt stop laughing. All I could think was, 'This man should be the the spokesman for Christians the world over.'

At least bible thumping would be funny then. When someone starts preaching you just hope they get gobbled by they're next convert.
