View Full Version : GSS Log (Mass Killing!)

I had a request that I post the log of me smiting Ablen and crew. Curiously, Perigourd has claimed I've never killed him before -- obviously this log shows otherwise.

Notice how they're talking about me behind my back (in reference to killing the 'good guys'). Then, also notice how while I'm getting smoked at first, people are acting all hoity-toity -- quickly, I turn the tables.

[Marshtown Road]
A weed-infested jumble of weather-worn rocks at the break of the riverbank marks where a bridge spanned the Cairnfang long ago. Across the river, the blue granite walls of Vornavis' north wall dwarf the roofs, tents, and low stone wall of the caravansary. You also see some rumpled damask gloves, a wooden arrow, a wooden arrow, a wooden arrow and a wooden arrow.
Obvious paths: east, west

Almost hidden among the tall grasses, brush, and young trees north of the road, charred timbers and blackened chimney stones show that farms and cottages once spread north of the river. You also see a wooden arrow.

[Cairnfang Crossing, North]
Black flies cover the dessicated remains of several criminals who ran afoul of the law one too many times. The stench of death and decay, as well as the ghastly, slack-jawed visages of the eyeless corpses keeps passersby a healthy distance from the gibbets. Bearing almost as much traffic as the road south across the bridge, although of a decidedly more squalid strain, a well-worn dirt road heads west. You also see a deliberate human templar, a dusky mastiff, an iced orange muffin, some ephlox moss, a massive ironwood tower and the Hangman's Bridge.

Following the northern bank of the river as it heads east, the caravan trail quickly leaves the settled fields and pastures behind. The trail and the ancient, piled stone markers that pierce the river's surface are soon the only signs that intelligent life has passed this way before. To the west, the trail appears more used as it follows the Cairnfang towards the cliffs above Solhaven Bay. You also see the Kadesha disk, a wooden arrow, a wooden arrow and a wooden arrow.

What the fuck. Don't be retarded. If you didn't want to read the fucking log, why did you even click on it? Didn't you stop playing GS ages ago? What the FUCK does it concern you?

Besides, I had posted this log on here previously, but the change to the new message boards mucked it up. The request came from a bloke looking for logs of the GSS saga (for a website, I assume).

That might be the most pathetic log I've seen. It is funny (in a laugh at Jenovadeath way) that he is bragging about it, though. And don't say "hoity-toity" in your reply to me or I will bitch slap you.

How is it 'pathetic'? Damn right, I better be bragging. I'd like to see you waltz into a room with over 5 people intending to kill you and survive -- along with taking more than 3 of them out. Are you sour because you were one of the people I killed? :(

I wouldn't say it's very impressive using mass effect spells. They're the least skilful way of killing anyone. Now if you'd run in and ambushed them to death, or plinked them to death, that would be skill.

Any nubbin with a 410 item, and an implosion rod could have done what you did.

True, but I didn't go in there with the intent of killing anyone. I was invisible, merely attempting to listen in on what they were plotting to do. Apparently, since I was killing 'his men' (those guard creatures that arrive to help defend in invasions), it warranted a fireball to my knee for a 12 round stun.

While the event you depict could be replicated, I doubt many people would have survived a 12 round stun and a 450+ AS Claid swing. Besides, no one in that room was expecting that I was going to live after he burnt the shit out of me and began dispelling me. Likewise, no one was expecting that I was going to major e-wave and open implode.

Yes, because you can't imbed 435. Hence why not everyone could do it. Otherwise I'd have said "any nubbin with the ability to cast 435".

Ewave and implosion is just a deadly combo. It just happens JD killed a few on his first major ewave cast. I imagine that had he used 410, those people he'd killed would have died from the open implosion anyway.

And, this log demonstrates why I don't play GS anymore. Someone who needs the attention Jenovadeath does would last about a minute in World of Warcraft. The only way you can stand out in WoW is to be a complete and utter asshole... but even then, once I do /ignore then their attention goes away. I think there was only 1 guy on our entire server that got this kind of attention... once people just used /ignore on him, he went to another server.

There is so much less opportunity for people like this to be pricks.. since you can't attack your own faction and the opposite faction can't understand anything you say. Jenovadeath would last maybe a day.. then cry that he's not getting the attention he 'deserves' and quit. GS allows people to become pricks.

The log would have been a lot better had you, you know, even nicked Ablen, but I found the abrupt reversal at least aesthetically pleasing. I'm a little surprised he didn't just go "OK MY AS IS 1000 NOW HAHA I WIN". Isn't that the preferred GM behavior?

I'm confused, sir. Being 50 and wasting your life while trying to reflect that on others is not 'being successful' in the real world. I'm an aspiring surgeon, in my second year of Medical School. How does that equate me as only having success in a graphical game? I no longer play Jenovadeath, by the way; I cancelled my account last week. Did you even go to college? What do you even DO now? You're so afraid of self-image that you REFUSE to post ANY pictures of your real life self. If that's being successful, I may as well kill myself now.

By the way, anyone that uses the term e-peen is obviously severely overweight in real life. The need to justify things with some sort of 'fake internet penis' is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of, and only demonstrates that the person making the statement is both insecure about their own problems (e.g., weight, sexual function, penis size, breast size, etc).

[Solhaven, North Market East]
A brown awning stretches across the front of the large stone building here. Hanging above the entrance is a metal breastplate, rusted from exposure to the salty sea air. Two giantmen, deeply engrossed in conversation, lean casually against the building. You also see a middle-aged human priestess and an old barrel with some stuff on it.

[Solhaven, Abalone Street]
Throngs of people travel westward towards the Market Square and the shouts of peddlers hawking their wares reach your ears. The unmistakable scent of chocolate wafts from the doorway of a small, whitewashed shop on the north side of the street. To the east you can see the hulking facade of the Solhaven Inn.

<<One of the annoying things about psinet is non GS people can still get on it and be douche bags still.>>

See Player's Corner.

I see it. An evolved forum catering to a community of posters on topics ranging from sports to moldy bras.... there is even an occasional post about GS.

See JD'd epeen log.

I dont understand why everyone is so upset over Jeno posting a log, but I've been really entertained by this thread.
