Training System questions

I'm not so sure I understand the new training system. Used to play back in the days of GSIII so this is new to me. Why is it that Spell Research for me as a wizard should be 0/8 but is 0/16? And is it related to the fact of the "recover column"? Not really sure what the recover thing is all about. If someone could point me in the right direction that'd be great. Thanks!

The new system continually recalculates TP costs based on how many ranks you have (all told) vs. how many levels you have. The old system, in contrast, considered only how many ranks you had trained this particular level. The new way is considerably better for us, as it ensures that our TPs are always spent in the most efficient manner.

The "recover" column indicates that we can now unlearn skills. I strongly recommend that you not do so unless you accidentally train in a skill for a couple ranks. Instead, if you want to change your character's training plan, use a fixskills. We get another one every year (on May 20th).
