Where the heck is the North Gate Guard? Yes, I'm just starting a character. And yes it's such a dumb newb question for a newb task of running messages. But I'm tired of near bleedin' to death stepping thru the gate looking ofr him, and cracking my skull when I fall on the ice. Or some how fall from a crawling position to get back in and get a 4 per bleeder on my knee.

Have you tried the tavern just outside of the west gate?

The guards, they doth drink the ale! But yar if he isnt at post thats a good place to look. Better yet don't run messages kill rats.

And dont live/level/train/play/sleep or anything in Icemule.

Only thing to do there, is head out for a better town.

(Honestly I dunno much about Icemule - but I cannot stand the ice-slipping-falling crap. I hate it.)

Stupid me. Never would have thought the North Gate Guard would be at the West Gate's Night Owl Tavern.

Thanks for the tip. He wasn't there but the East and West Gate Gaurds were.

Majority of the time he's upstairs in the Nightowl Pub when he's not at his post. All the guards go on break there.

Your problem is you aren't out the north gate, you've climbed up onto the tower and battlements some how. There's no ice to slip on outside the north gate. I forget exactly how you climb up there but you have to go all the way to the end of the north road and then go door, go gate, climb stairs, something like that. Instead just go all the way north from TC, go gate, go n, that's where the guard is. You'll need 5 coins to get back in.
