Untempering.

I have a couple sets of tempered armor that have come into my possession. I understand that tempers fade over time -- does anyone know how long that takes? And can a non-wizard use a sarmoc potion to untemper something? (My guess is no on this.) Thanks for your time.

Good luck there man. I had a shield that was tempered, tried untempering it with my 59 wizard.. then tried to get a capped wizard to do it for me.. neither worked..

Thanks for the reply. They were some tempered armors I found long ago and wasn't able to get in touch with the owner, but I JUST did, so I guess it's a moot point now.
