Hello all, I just got my full complement of spells as a polearm bard (up to 430, 1040) and now i'm wondering where to go next. On the table is armor, (i have 50 ranks for torso chain), PT (.5x now), dodge (.5x), and other skills that bards find useful (lores, perception perhaps).

What order should I get these skills up to snuff?

armor ranks to 70/90 (to eventually wear double chain, then augmented chain)
1x dodge
1x PT (will i even get semidux worth having?)
60 ranks of manip
any perception? Will even 1x be useful at all against ambush?

75 air lore, immediately or when you can.

1x dodge, PT, CM (If you don't already).

If you're using a lance, don't fuck around with manipulation unless you're purifying in which case I'd suggest only 20.

I have 1x perception for Ithzir scouts, Trition Magus and Triton Executioners.

I'd then think about getting more spells; more spellsongs to reduce your MSP, more defense, better utility or more MnE to increase your AS.

Do you use ewave when you hunt? Or any MnE spells for that matter? The reason I ask, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, is because I thought you only needed 50 ranks for aug chain to offset RT, maneuver, and bard circle hinderance. Is this accurate?
