>tap fedora
you tap a midnight black suede fedora

From the Oxford dictionary:

fedora
noun
a low, soft felt hat with a curled brim and the crown creased lengthwise.

ORIGIN late 19th cent.(originally U.S.): from Fédora, the title of a drama (1882) written by the French dramatist Victorien Sardou (1831–1908).

You read it yourselves. Fedoras are from the late 19th century United States. Jump jive and wail in this terribly out of genre fedora, or try and smuggle moonshine past Eliot Ness to your speakeasy.

But it'll cost you 1million silvers, flat. Email to blewismaltz@gmail.com or U2U.

Posting the description might help!

And Bacl, you honestly have the most random shit ever.

The description is a midnight black suede fedora... or something very similiar in nature. I too have one, but it's too snazzy to sell off of my lyricist.*

Yeah I've got one of those, too. I've just never worn it because I'm one of the picky characters who sneers at its existence.

At least I'm honest.

You could probably find someone who would pay that much for it.

You could?

They're selling fedoras off the shelf at the Sweetheart Festival in plat. If they can pass QC there, I can't see why they wouldn't pass QC in prime.

Wow. Well, heck, maybe I was really wrong about this thing. Maybe a style of clothing specificly from 1940s United States is acceptable for the genre of Gemstone. I mean if PLAT is doing it...

Well, whatever. a midnight black suede fedora, and I am fine with it sitting on the desk in my shop for all eternity. Looks snazzy, as another has said.

I think I'd get my ass beat if I walked around in game wearing my fedora along with my pinstripe trousers*, pinstripe overcoat*, golden waistchain* and wingtip shoes*. But hell, maybe I'd get an RP nominate (or maybe I'd have to join Plat to get it)!

Anyways. 1million if you want it, otherwise on my desk it sits.

*yes, I actually have these. no, I don't wear them.

Get over yourself. They have fucking straightjackets in the game. They were sold off the shelf, but they're there. They DID sell dusters off the shelf. Just because its wrong per the GS "rules" certainly doesn't mean they don't screw up ALL THE time and put them in game.

And yet...we can have bustles on gowns anymore, which is even older than the time period fedoras come from. Lovely eh?

Most people wouldn't even know what a fedora is just by seeing a big block of text that says "he is also wearing some stupid fedora" in a game. I sure as hell didn't know what one was until you explained it. And anyone that would spend that much coin just for the slim chance that some super elite RP purist that's incredibly anal about everything would happen to look at that person and get pissed off probably wouldn't even bother buying it to begin with, because they'd rather be proactive in their problem making, like going around cutting peoples' legs off or picking pockets instead of standing around hoping someone passes by and says HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS GUY'S WEARING A FEDORA YOU HAVE NO PLACE IN ELANTHIA I NOW CHALLENGE YOU TO A DUEL OF ATTENTION WHORING!!!!1

You think a fedora is OOC? I have a triforce ring, complete with stuff about courage, power, wisdom, and even the word "triforce" in it.

Zelda > Dick Tracy hats

Yeah. Well technically I don't have it anymore since I sold out, but I'm pretty sure I stashed that item either on my cleric or gave it to Maleeka to hang onto for if/when I ever came back.

Getting it made was kinda interesting...the GM didn't know what I was talking about when I tried to describe it so I gave them a link to this picture (http://internal.tbi.net/~max/trisecret03.jpg) or something just like it, and they still didn't catch on. A few minutes later I guess another GM told the merchant what I was trying to have made, and the merchant slapped me around a bit. But they made the item anyway, which ruled.

I do lose some points on this though, because all the triforce stuff is in the show. The actual item description is "a golden triple delta band" if I remember right. If I can ever get ahold of it again (which would mean reactivating my other account, so don't hold your breath, unless Maleeka is holding it for me) I'll post the show. It's kinda spiffy.

I'd rather see a triforce ring than a delta ring, in terms of OOGness.

I tried to get it made as "a golden triforce" and was just gonna carry it around and whip it out at random times, but they wouldn't do that. I wasn't for the Zelda reasons though, but something about "If I don't know what a triforce is how will anyone else know?" Which is kind of ironic, since the GM behind that merchant is probably the only person in the world that doesn't know what a triforce is. Maybe I'll try again if I ever come back.

Yeah I remember that Methais.. Hard to beat my schwartz ring though.. Elbrion also had a replica of the One Ring that was perfect with the inscription and everything.. it even made you invisible when you put it on.
