I know there is only one set of greaters. They were released in a quest at Anfelt. Not sure on the lessers. I would assume there are several sets.

Yep! They are identical, as far as abilities are concerned, excluding the 1x per day cross-realm transportation (which is possibly the niftiest script in the game, as the messaging is realm-wide). Any other differences are undocumented. Three lesser sets and one greater set were released in prime, but they have a tendency to change hands rather quietly.

Charging the vambraces and their handling thereof is nearly a non-issue, which is why the price is higher than one might initially expect. The armor lasts for *about* four minutes per near level creature sacrificed, and the teleportation appears to use one charge for every time the ability is activated. This is to say, they aren't unlimited to the point where they might be abused, but for all intents and purposes it isn't a problem.

Just so you know, they have constantly sold for 40-60mil before this. Whether you paid out the nose on them is one thing, I know I've had the option 2 times in the not so distant past to buy them for 40-50mil.

I wouldn't necessarily consider the suggestions immediately helpful since there has never been a set up for public sale, and if there is a set being sold for 50m at the current moment, then I would be happy to direct everyone there. There have been multiple players interested in paying around that price and I'm sure they would be grateful.

If only we could all join you in plat, where giant Shadowdeath robots grow on trees. Sadly, prime is a bit different, and I will sell them for a fair price that takes this into account.

The post was on the officials that i was refering to roughly 2 months ago and stood stagnant at trying to get the 50mil he wished for em.

Also, the plat comment, actually the SD storyline has ended quite some time ago, well before I played. And the SD vambraces hold more value in plat than they do in prime due to that very storyline. Prying them from anyone in Plat would require the selling of your soul, first born and kidneys.

From what i know, the greaters were won by some unknown female character who loaned them to Gaerit in her absence. Tsin offered her a deal she could not refuse and I believe Bill now owns them(which he said above).

If you want to sell something and not get a public feedback about said sale with the medium you use to sell, I would strongly suggest using such mediums as eBay, GSAuctions.com and the various other small websites that host in game sales. However, preventing someone talking about it anywhere is virtually impossible.

What i do believe is truth here, is the EG item, the mass song of mirrors spell item, was used for trade on this item, of which the gorget was priced at 100mil.

It seems only fair that if you present information contrary to what is listed, then you would equally as kind to prove it.

I bought the greaters from Liagala and then after about 6 months I traded them to Tayvin for the self mana haste short sword.. I know he still has his gorget and now Avantos has the other gorget I traded to him a few days ago..

By the way the last set to change hands I believe was Gaerit selling his lessers to Plur for around 60 million.
