Can I make it to Master by getting a bunch of shafts, cutting them, cutting nocks in them and repeating? Is there an easier way?

You can do it just with cutting shafts, technically.

True, but since cutting RT is too long to do alone. You can learn when nocking as well, and the RT is much shorter. I think in the long run it is faster to master by stopping just before adding fletchings IMO.

But to get to nocking you have a bunch of intermediary steps which take longer than simply throwing it away and nocking again, I believe.

This works, though you need to be present to watch it. It will not stop automatically when you cut the arrow when cutting or nocking. You'll have to stop it, but it works.

Nocking is the next step after cutting.
