Has anything extremely interesting happened in GS in the last 6 or so months that would make it worthwhile to return for a few months? Or is anything groundbreaking happening soon?

If not, anyone interested in a level 56ish ranger?

They implemented a bounty system; the Adventurer's Guild. You get one of a variety of tasks, and upon fulfillment you get a reward consisting of silvers (not much), experience (enough to fry consistently), and bounty points. The experience is not subject to spillage as normal hunting experience is and can put your character into a post-fried state: saturation. He or she will not be able to add any more experience to his or her bucket, but he or she will absorb at an even faster rate than fried, maxing out at 40 per pulse. Bounty points are basically like carnival tickets, a few will get you crap and if you have a ton you can get something nice (a million [I think] bounty points gets you a fixstats potion, for instance).

They stopped doing the stupid plant invasions.

In terms of what's coming up, this is Simu we're talking about. Until it's actually live in game I wouldn't believe anything you hear.

Yea, Adventurer's Guild is definitely a prime addition to the game. Maybe enough for you to squeeze another month or two enjoyment.

As Latrin said... this IS Simu, so who knows when we'll see shit implemented (coughAlchemycough)
