Tackling Dummy

Why must the tackling dummies be so tedious (sp?) to work with? I've spent an hour and 50 minutes of time trying to get 30 repititions, and I still have 8 left.

Maybe there is a trick I don't know about, and if so...Someone please please please tell me! I've always hated the dummy, so the first time I had to train with it, I made a script which works fine. And even though I'm scripting, it still really sucks.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, that's got to be a pain. I mean, to look for sweep partners as a rogue, chances are all you'll have to do is make a quick run to the east tower. That's if there isn't anyone in the courtyard, which there usually is, too.

And what you should do instead of looking for a random warrior to work on tackle with, is have an all time "teacher" so to speak. For me, that's Chayy. He helps me with all my warrior guild needs and questions. As well as helps with my training sessions. It's a very good idea and helps immensly. :thumbsup:

Grand for you, my warrior is a recluse, and don't like much attention. He'd rather be squishing something in the wilds then in town. Towns are kinda agenst his barbaric way.

Doesn't have to be in town. Also you may think Chayy treats me as a friend and whatnot, giving me "attention". The only "attention" that I get from him is him threatening to cut my limbs off, leg me, warcrying at me, or actually cutting my limbs off. Although we may be friends, he doesn't like to show it much.

Ok, now I'm REALLY angry...After two hours and ten minutes of work to get 30 lousy ranks, I only get 5 training points for it. When you go out to tackle a monster a few times (probably 10 minutes max) and come back, you'll get 15 I think. Tackling other members and having them tackle you (5-10 minutes) and come back, you'll get 10. This really sucks and is a total waste of time. It needs to be changed.

Also, I don't know about warriors, but I know the more ranks you have in a skill the easier those types of trainings get for a rogue. At 5 ranks of sweep the dummies were a pain. at 30 they're a breeze.

It has been. In GS4 you pick up the skills like a pure would a spellcircle.

False. You pick up the skills like a pure would a spell circle via CM..but the CM versons of the skill are weaker then the guild trained.
