Alter vs. Unusual

Too many people consider items that aren't plain or have a show an alter. Last night someone told me to shut up and make boots, and I said I would if anyone would buy the things. Then Warclaidhm says, "Nobody buys them because you can't make alters anymore." This was all publically on the thought net.

1. Warclaidhm is inherently dumb.
2. I could never make altered boots, because I'd have to make the boots and then alter them for them to be altered.
3. Warclaidhm is stupid on top of being dumb.
4. Warclaidhm is a jackass for saying that.
5. This thread has no purpose.
