it matters because we don't like to buy from people with bad or no reputation.

As I said, I'm Squigums. I have a pretty flawless reputation IG and most people know me, so I have nothing to gain from doing something stupid.

it means almost nothing

I think it means they have a credit card or bank account tied to their account.

I have a checking account and I'm a total douchebag, so Allen is right it means nothing.

a little friendly PC advice, updating several times a day will only hurt your sales

bank account. And yes they can still screw you but unless they have a fraudelent account they can't just dissppear on you like an unverified one.

edit - I should add that ebays apparent current stance on virtual sales it wouldn't matter if you knew the guy personally if he decides to not deliver ain't much you can do.

I don't know if you meant paypal, but yeah. They don't cover digital items at all.
