Heh, none of those, I just have the time to deliver right now and a few bucks extra in the checking account never hurts. I have to pay the IRS a few bucks again this year:-(

Actualy Mario my in-game sales are taxed at the 5% capital gains rate thats currently in effect for people in my income tax bracket and thats only on the amount of profit after my costs for playing the game which includes my Simu bill and the costs of my internet connection are deducted. Why do you think I owe the IRS a few bucks? Heh. All I have ever sold was silvers and that hasn't been all that much.
In other words go fuck yourself. I pay my taxes on all my sources of income.

Could be, who knows?
Sometimes you just get tired of all the bashing that goes on here though, its like folks take out their real life frustrations from the semi-anomity bullitin boards offer.
Sure I have sold silvers, but then I have found and returned over a billion of silvers worth of gear folks have lost in OTF thats far and away more than I'll ever sell in silvers. Everyone has their own code of right and wroung. Mario has his, I have mine, and you have yours. There are few people who play the game that don't break, stretch, or circumvent the intended rules and restrictions in some way, even among the GMs. Me I sell silvers, but then I don't slam, multi-account, use locker characters or exploit game bugs, and etc.... I have learned to live and let live. Too bad many of the other players don't do likewise.
I ruined my credit way back when GS-3 opened and was costing 6.00 an hour to play and frequently when those old modems disconnected and you would still be online from GEnies server point of view and billed. Not that the disconnect feature was the total cause of my huge bills L-), but anyways I only just got my credit back in shape about 5 years ago and I guess selling silvers is my own petty way of recoupeing.

No one is going to report you is all I'm saying >.< Mario was just teasing. Freaking out over a joke from someone who hardly if ever posts maliciously is just a good way for the mean people you mentioned to come and heckle you. Not trying to be mean, just the way people are.
Almost no one is "innocent" when it comes to mechanics, selling, and all other things related to Gemstone. I think the only person people have seriously thought about telling the IRS about is Tsin, heh. But frankly, people don't care enough about a few silvers sold here and there to go through the trouble to inform the IRS.
Anyway, good luck on your selling.

Er...I wasn't getting bent really, just pointing out that I have claimed my silver sales earnings on my taxes :-). Capital gains tax really is 5% at my income bracket. Besides the silver sales I also claim the interest from my Cd's that I receive each month (Cds are from selling my home,I down-sized<g>). Currently you can sell any home that is your main residence for at least two years and there is no tax on that profit.
Would be great to keep riding the wave of hot realestate markets every few years <g>. My current home is worth tripple what I paid after only three years and even after all the home improvements is worth double what I paid. And that is a home I own outright so theres been no interest<g>. Doing ok for myself considering I earn about 30k a year all total between Job,CD interest, and silver sales, heh.
I'm in the last stages of the home improvements and plan on going out of state to buy a brand new home for cash as soon as this place sells(In a state where new homes start at less than 100k)
Its great being able to take advantage of the 5% capital gains tax and the ability to sell primary residents with no tax at all on the profits. Heck, even if the new home doesn't go up in value I'm ahead of the game.
My 2005 Nissan I got 1% financing on and is my only debt so I have come a long way from the days of melting my creditcards playing Gemstone.
As far as Tsin goes, he is an incredable horse trader and claims he earns his living playing GS. Myself I have had only 2 transactions with him. One was selling him that fireleaf runestaff he is selling which was a boxfound of mine and the other that gem encrusted mace. Both were sales from me to him and I made a meager profit from the mace. I suck at selling things, but never buy anything thats not a bargin....
