Setup: (false advertisement?)

a thick white fox fur cloak - 3,000,000 silversYou estimate that a thick white fox fur cloak can store a very large amount with enough space for any number of items. You determine that you could wear the cloak, hanging it from your shoulders.

Xiraphem's Outfitting

In the Common language, it reads:

Enter all ye who seek fortune into . . .

~ Smash'n'Grab ~
The Grab

Spidersilk satchels are only 4 pounds.
Rat skull satchels are 5 and 50.
Actioned hood spidersilk cloaks: hooded cobalt and crimson are 4 pounds, hooded black/white is 6 pounds, hooded ashen is 7 pounds.
The thick white fox fur cloak is a consolation cloak from the first Foehn's Promise
Items on the table are ring-holder chains.

Does anyone know the list of actions on these cloaks? A friend of mine bought it and it seems to be a dud.

Also, does anyone know who this person is, so the matter can be settled?

Any info would be great to pass along.

Playershops are buy at your own risk.

Which I've always agreed with.. with the exception being this situation. If on the sign it says this item is such and such.. it should be such and such.

Yes. However I doubt the GM's will do anything as you can sell an item as pretty much anything (and lie), and get away with it pretty easily. If they give you any shit just mention the name "Tsin".

I remember owning a fox fur cloak that did have a bunch of actions, supposedly from the FP as well. They have a completely different set of scripts than the normal hooded leather ones.

You could try getting a GM to see if putting the item on a shelf in a playershop broke the item.

Looks like something sold off the shelf on the WD with actions due to the fur

Outstanding information, the friend in question reads the boards so he'll see this thread.

He was well aware of the 'disclaimer' listed on signs within the shop and bought it on good faith since one can not test 'actions' or see a mechanical note positively denoting such actions through assessment or bardsong like you can with weaponry, magical items, or armor.

Furthermore, he's also a mentor and should have plenty of resources available to him should the item prove to be bugged. I just hate to see him out the 3m for the item since it was not sold as advertised... hence why I'm asking if anyone knows this shop owner, so perhaps it could be rectified without GM involvement (should it not be bugged).

So, again, if you know this fellow, please post here or U2U me so I can get these two people together to work this out.

Wasn't the first FP a pay to play event? I thought it was a consolation item from the GM premium auction on the east side of the landing.

I almost bought it too until Dex told me it only had actions with the fur as she has a similar one just like it. Unless it's just a tap copy of those but I think you should be able to pull, push and rub.
