Fletching

I heard that instead of just making arrows, doing the steps only up until fletching was the quickest way to get ranks.

Is that true, and are there any other tricks like that?

That's what I did, I mastered fletching in...I think 4 days? Do the steps for cut arrow with dagger, cut nock in arrow with dagger, cut nock in arrow with dagger, rinse and repeat.

Also...I've concluded that having lucksong up will basically at least double your chances of getting a rank. Soupie mastered it in less than half the time it took me.

Yes. Just do the first two steps. Throw away, repeat.

I make the +5 arrows.. but I have no idea how many ranks I have.

Is there any way to check your ranks without logging sessions and/or counting the 'That was easier' messages?

I heard there was a site that correlates messages from carving to ranks, any of you know where it is?

As soon as you start making "peerless shafts" and "perfect tapers", you'll know you've reached rank 480. After that your arrows should be perfect every time, so there's really no reason to get the other 20 ranks except for brag rights, I guess.

You pare away the excess wood, taking care to keep the shaft straight. Gazing at the pared shaft, you can't help but feel you could probably fire this thing straight through a line of mein golems and it wouldn't suffer in the least. Of course, neither would the golems, really.

I'm getting this pretty consistently, about how many ranks is it?

Yes, and they take like 80 shafts each depending on your luck.

Peerless shafts are the best you can make.

Grays is mastered, and that's what he makes.

Right, but you aren't a master until 500 ranks. You make perfect arrows at 480.

I havent done it in awhile but i thought it was 490 = +5

I was hoping that once I finish mastering fletching I could use a script to make the arrows in whole. I mean putting on the feathers and everything. If you know a place then it will help. Also to increase the rate at which you'll gain ranks your Intell which is not Intuition increases the rate.

Okay looking just for one more script because everyone here and everyone in game says I am doing this the slow way. I have only been carving the shafts from rough ones but everyone says it's faster to do that and the nocking process. So...Any scripts available to do both processes because I've only been doing step one.

I have a script that cuts shafts but not one that cuts shafts and nocks the bow. Any chance you have that one ?
