Minute 2:36, one of those nut jobs actually appears to be taking a pee. That is one crazy vid. LCD Soundsystem is great though, and love the way it isn't just a dubbed video, but what's on the screen affects the musicians. Damnit... I watched the first one and thought it was kinda dumb... but because I'm working on a project right now I decided to watch the second one. Now I'm strangely addicted and annoyed. His mono-tone talking and phrase repeating gets extremely annoying, but I still want to watch them. The "How to Carry Your Books at School" was a particularly good one though, as it's a dilemma I think everyone went through.

I watched it RiffTraxed the first time I saw it (er only time). I don't know if I could sit through it again, but I oddly feel compelled to watch it again. Immediately after I was amazed at how terrible it was, then it grew on me, my roommates and I find ourselves quoting it all the time...

I'd have to say they were in the process of learning/practicing the song without the marching components included. It looks a lot like any smaller high school marching band to me. What is it that offends you specifically? Were you IN a marching band...I'd guess yes.

How many times did you get to dot the "I?"

I recognize you were just following the title, but it really offends me that anyone would call this a marching band. :grr:

It was performed by the George Mason Green Machine Pep Band, you know...the group that marches onto the field during halftime.

Does George Mason have football? I'm leaning towards no...oh wait, they do. Looks like maybe D3. That's better than some high school football...just.

However, the pep band DOES typically play during basketball games and GMU has a very stout team this year. Patriots will make the dance. I just hope VCU spanks them in the CAA tourney.
