View Full Version : Piling on Warclaidhm

From what I gather, Warclaidhm is about as sharp as a bag of wet mice, isn't very old, he lies, he cheats and many want to see him pay even if he has done nothing to them directly. Justice...right? Karma is finally catching up with him and you're here to witness his demise.

That being said, I think many of you have been piling on long enough.

I would bet in the last month I've seen hundreds of posts here and heard hundreds of thoughts on the "black net" bashing Warclaidhm. I've heard that he's a 15-year-old idiot that is someone to be pitied, yet people keep piling on. If he's that pathetic, why jump into the attack on him? Isn't that a little too easy?

I think Warclaidhm antagonizes people intentionally or needs to see a therapist about his utter lack of social skills and impulse control. He has lied and cheated his little butt off and has probably laughed his ass off while doing it. Then he plays the "oh, I've learned my lesson" card or "I'm just a dumb kid, take pity on me" card. That's a load of crap. He hasn't, he won't or he can't change. I bet he LOVES the attention either way.

I don't think he's nearly as dumb as many of you think he is...and I don't think he's nearly as smart as he thinks he is.

Ignore him. Don't speak to him or of him. No attention, no interaction and no problems or annoyances for you. There are too many annoying morons in the world to fixate on one...spread the joy to others in that extremely large category.

This piling on by scores of people over the course of who knows how long only serves to make those piling on look bad. Great, you're the 128th person to slam him and boy did you look cool on the forum doing it. Congrats! Looking at this from a "lurkers" perspective it's like physically or verbally attacking someone who can't fight back.

Is it fun to slam Warclaidhm when you know he doesn't have the capability to return fire in any way that resembles competency? How about repeatedly slapping someone in a wheelchair for being a complete jackass. Sure they might deserve it, but wouldn't that make you feel like a lesser person? If it doesn't, it should.

Sometimes it's difficult to read tone in written messages, but it appears to me there are plenty of people who seem to get nothing short of unbridled joy from slamming this fool time and time again.

Quit piling on and find a worthy target that might have the ability to fight back. I feel like I'm watching a bad car accident and those around me are pointing and laughing at the scene.

Show some maturity and leave him starved of friends and the attention he wants. If you won't or can't, you're no higher up the food chain than he is.

I know many here and "in game" are young, but I also know plenty are old enough that they should see something inherently wrong with the direction this has gone.

If he hasn't done anything to you personally, quit piling on and ignore him if you don't want to interact with him. If he has done somehting to you, pay him back and move on, ignoring him in the future.

I'm not calling out any person in particular, however if you feel you've been attacked you might want to step back and take a look at why.

Think about it...debate it...dismiss it or flame away.

:::climbs down off of the soapbox:::

:::runs back up to the soapbox and drags the severely beaten dead horse named Warclaidhm with him:::

I've heard that he's a 15-year-old idiot that is someone to be pitied

There was 1 IM in the snippets (I think) or some other post where he said he was 21. Just food for thought.

Do me a big favor. Display correct information.

Warclaidh = Good.
Warclaidhm = Moron.

That was Tayre pretending to be warclaidhm so that people like bob and you would think it was him. He did a pretty good job you both bought it.

Umm. I think you are dead on, Lobster. However, I do not know that starting a whole new thread about the proverbial "dead horse" was the best way to go about doing what you suggest. ;)

Awwwww c'mon...it's a "do as I say, not as I do kind of world" and who am I to rock the boat?

What fun is it to get on your soapbox at the back of a line. To spout pearls of wisdom from upon high, you need to create your own line....yeah, that's exactly what I meant to do, yeah...sure it was.

Well since i slam Warclaidhm on a near consistent basis, i feel i should respond to this. Warclaidhm has been given the chance by me and many other people to be left alone and go his seperate ways and yet he persists in the actions that bring about these responses that he is constantly bitching about.

Even the most basic of organisms are capable of avoiding things that cause them harm physically or mentally.

As for me being a coward or whatever, i like to think i am fully capable of engaging anybody in a rational argument or discussion. I'm also confident enough in my person to "attack" other people regardless of my assessment of their intelligence. I don't pick on warclaidhm simply because i can, or because its the cool thing to do. (even if both statements are true)

I agree with some points of lobsters post and I disagree with others. But since you already stated the points I agree with I am only going to focus on the ones I disagree with in my post.

I disagree with you comparing picking on warclaidhm with picking on a cripple or someone in a wheelchair. Warclaidhm has the tools to fight back. As stupid as people seem to think he is, he does have the power to fight back on these boards and the game.

I also don't think that the supposed bandwagon effect is really there. I think a lot of people have their own genuine gripes about him. In addition I think a lot of people here have tried to be nice to him, i think a lot of people here have taken time away from bashing him to give him time to change. I know i personally have. But everytime you give him another chance he finds away to alienate himself again. I know last time for me was Rorac was giving him a hard time I stepped in when i witnessed it I stopped it, warclaidhm thanked me we were getting along, so what does he do the next week? he starts waving sandstorm wands at me at HS. why? because i wouldnt invite him to my table because the people I was with asked me not to and I abided by their wishes and told him why I couldn't invite him.

Rarely will you see me jump in a warclaidhm thread and say OMG YOUZ AREZ SO STOOPIDS. DIE. because I don't think thats right. But it doesn't mean people don't have legitamate gripes about him. Things that happen daily in the game. Living in the landing I know i have some sort of encounter with him atleast every other day. And I in no way seek him out.

Anyway these are just my perosnal throughts, opinions, and observations about why i don't feel its an actual piling/bandwagon effect.

edited to add in addition didnt you post under a week ago basically encouraging peoples actions in a anti warclaidhm thread where the logs posted were people beating him senseless?

It's obvious that Warclaidhm isn't known for his brains, but hasn't he been the whipping boy for quite some time now? I don't know what led to the current situation, but damn...it's fun to watch. Keep up the good work everyone.

Didn't the old "Warclaidh" leave because of some troubles, then returned as "Warclaidhm" a few years ago? He returned and had somewhat turned over a new leaf? Maybe I'm just wrong here, but I thought that was the case....looks like old habits die hard.

If you are going to be spouting pearls of wisdom from on high, you had best be careful. If they bounce back your way, they can do one hell of a lot of damage. ;)

HarmNone has been hit by a pearl or two

I would add this to my last post but it was long enough. I have to agree with HarmNone creating a new thread for this is pointless. As much as you'd like your rant on people picking on him to be heard, i personally forsee this turning into another list the reasons you hate warclaidhm and have a reason to bash him thread, no different then every other warclaidhm thread.

I think your intent was noble and kind heated but I just can't bring myself to agree with the purpose of the thread.

editted to add i hope the fact that he's created the 50,000 warclaidhm thread doesn't become the topic here though and that we can focus on your points. hint hint to everyone reading and posting after me.

Its popular to blast Warclaidhm. Simple as that. He's not the most idiotic player of GS, not by quite far. He hasn't ripped people off to the extent other have in the past either. Its simply the "in" thing to do to give the kid crap. Just as it was with Lisu etc.

Rawq [faint]: "im shocked. i just visited a forum. they really do flame Warclaidhm"

That's right. We've made it to the 'intelligent' part of the landing net.

I'm automatically intelligent, I rarely use the thought net anymore other than to sell my boots.

On topic answer: I posted this in another thread but it was deleted by mistake.

I hereby ban Warclaidhm from typing and speaking in English, Spanish, French, or Japanese for butchering every one of these languages repeatedly.

I also said before that he isn't as dumb as we think.

He knows what he is doing, if he was that stupid he would constantly bring it back. non stop, as someone that cannot understand what is going on. But it isn't always the case, that means he's either WAY stupid or he knows (in some limits) what he is doing.

Also, he has a small pattern in his behavior, which, even if simple, show some interesting stuff:

1) Do something stupid
2) Whine about it
3) get bashed a lot
4) apologize
5) pretends he don't understands why people are on him
6) VICTIMAZE himself so he'll get some sympathy
7) back to 1)

He sells on ebay, also. That means the game isn't as important to him as many people think.

Lobster obviously hasn't had the 'pleasure' of an interaction with warclod yet.

It will come in time, lobster. As it does to everyone.

I've dealt with Warclaidhm. He begged and begged and begged for me to come down on the price of something I was selling a year or so ago, because he claimed he was broke and utterly poor. I sold it to him at a reduced price. 2 days later he's spending several million on another item.

That was the last time I ever dealt with Warclaidhm. I maked his name in the Wizard under the "don't buy from or sell to" list and moved on. Not a single problem since.

That's how I handled him for better or for worse.

But he's not that stupid.. he knows it does him some good as some people are showing him some sympathy (money?)
