So there was some thing on the news about some oldest currently alive woman blah blah blah, whatever, they had this picture of her though... good god she was scary looking. A quick google led me to a load of really scary looking old people

I think as long as you feel comfortable with what you've accomplished I guess you could die at whatever age you want.


And I think if you are able to live past (FUCK, I almost said "level", I'm such a loser) age 90 you should be able to look HOWEVER you want.

If I could reach old age in relatively good health with most of my body parts intact and functioning I'd be happy. Reminds me of a joke:

If dying when you start to look "scary" is the way to go, there's a lot of people that should be dead at age thirteen. Living that long is pretty fucking cool, who cares what she looks like?

If her mental faculties are intact, she'd be awesome to talk to! She's seen some fantastic changes to the world in the 114 years she's lived. I think it would be fascinating to hear her reactions, and the stories of times remembered.

That link was very interesting, To think so many people would fake their age like that.. When you've lived 108 years be proud of it! Don't claim you lived longer and say your birth certificate was lost in a fire. It's a little late in life to play the fame game at that point.

Something I found kind of funny.. Later after I had read all that stuff I was googling Barbados because I hope to take a vacation there and wikipedia listed it as second in the world only to Japan for having produced the highest number of Centenarians.

Realistically, juvenile diabetes takes about 27 years off your life. Now, I've either decided living a long time at impaired physical and mental function isn't worth it (likely), I just hate old people (possible), or I'm mental not to appreciate the idea of needing Depends (unlikely).
