So, I was reading this article and it struck me funny.

I think there's the potential for denial involved here. If you want to have your characters banging in game, I see nothing wrong with it.
However, don't deny that there IS something behind that need, whether it be simple sexual enjoyment, having control over someone else, or as a means of getting attention for that brief period of time. This isn't a one time thing for a storyline, then maybe I could understand more. This is a repeat act with a person behind the character choosing what they do and how to play them. There's plenty of things you can do as a character for enjoyment beyond having sex in game, so that argument is out.
Part of roleplaying is to share the situation that you put your character into.
