I have come into possession of a 5x a perfect maoral-handled vultite flail. It has permanent heavy crit weighting. It was crafted by Perivan, sung to by Archales, assessed by Allen and Khariz.
It is 6lbs and has a forging of 77/192.
I am currently listening to offers of 30 million or more.
Will set a buy out of 37 million.
AIM is WRossArtley or you can PM me.

Well, this was discussed on the officials that there has not once been a weighting merchant since player forged didn't add to AS directly. Temp weighting doesn't specify in a loresong nor when assessing.
I hope you really did your homework on it, or you might have been jacked...

The weapon is for real. I've tracked it through the last three owners and their hunting. Unless it's "temp weighting" that lasts through 6 months and thousands of hunts, I seriously doubt this is temporary.

Yea, I doubt it it COULD last that long, just seems odd seeing no weighting merchants have been around in many years. Not even in plat I hear. Though temp weighting can be reloaded...

It's only heavy weighting. Why couldn't someone have used Premium points to do it? Or is that not possible on crafted weapons?

Why would Mykill, Madmoutnain and Archales all test it an not see anything about temp weighting?

Premium Points can't weight anything.

Yea I don't know why 3 people would lie, nor can I believe it lasted as long as it did if it was temp weighting, I'm just saying, the temp weighting stuff didn't show up in longsungs or assesses and I wanted to make sure you double checked so you didn't get ripped off.

Why not just see how much it would cost to recharge it... if you get a quote, then it's temp, otherwise it's not (or it's fully charged).
Does that work?

So since you have been following it from previous owners can you explain to us when and how the weighting was added? I don't claim to know everything, but I can guarantee there has been no possible way to add weighting to weapons since forging was released.

I don't know of a weighting service since forging has come out, personally. However, I'm not the end-all be-all. I'm not questioning since you've had a GM check it, but I know I'd remove all doubts by finding out what merchant worked on it to legitimize the properties.

Ok, so here is the deal. I got a few staff look at this item. They testified that it is what I said it is but are curious as to why. They are going to research it and get back to me within a week. So until then. I guess I'll continue to hunt with it and own.

A friend just pointed this thread out to me. For what it's worth: this item was in my hands--and only my hands--from its creation until it was sold out of my shop sometime between December 23rd, 2006 and January 7th, 2007. When it was sold, it was a vanilla 4x perfectly forged vultite flail.
I have no idea how the weapon got enchanted and heavily crit weighted in a matter of a few weeks, but it certainly hasn't been that way for "6 months and thousands of hunts."

I may have had my times wrong, but you have yours wrong as well. Someone (name not recalled) bought it months ago, and showed it to me, and I assessed it.
Then about a week later, Fuaru, I believe bought it. He hunted with it a while, pasting hits from his hunts to me via AIM. Now, weeks later, he has sold it , and it is in it's current possession. Those are the three owners I speak of. I admit that It may not have been 6 months, but it certainly hasn't been two weeks either.
Edit: Also, it was weighted like this the second the first person showed it to me. I have never seen it in any other form, but as currently weighted.

I don't think you will find a seller unless someone can provide proof, such as the merchant service it was weighted at. Temporary weighting is not shown in an assessment, I believe.

Did we forget about the part where the GM already confirmed it, and the GM's are suspicious about it and looking into it?
It's weighted alright, though I agree somewhat suspiciously.

No, I didn't forget. If you ask 50 GM's a question, you'll get 40 different answers. It's not the issue, weighted or not. The issue is the claim of permanent weighting, which I ( among others ) question.
I don't care about whomever's timeline, truth be told. I'm also not interested in the weapon, so maybe I should STFU. :)

The original poster said the weapon has my character's forging mark on it. The forging mark gets added when the forger vises the weapon, and to date I've only vised one perfect vultite flail. So this weapon is either the one I forged and recently sold or its origins are even more questionable.

I used to own a onyx studded glaes club. It was naturally 3x, as in +15. It could be ebladed and such thus making it a 7x flaring weapon (morning star base) usable by level 8 and up. there were 3 of them that slipped thru and into the market before the GMs "fixed" them. Mine was one of two still buggy.
I used it quietly and enjoyed it. You should have enjoyed your weapon too.

Especially with the GMs in this game. They have no qualms about nerfing an item. Has happened to me a few times too. Good Advice.

I thought hosts, GMs, etc. could take payment for their services via in game services (padding, enchanting, weighting, etc.), but were not supposed to transfer their item to another player's character. Any chance that happened?

They can definately make there rounds after a GM uses the points on something. One GM in particular made a killing on his items when he sold most of them all off.
