There seems to be a new bug or some shit about remotely capping nodes in AV since patch. I've been in about 20 winning HORDE av's in a row. Get it while the getting is good people.

You can cap the flags from about 20-30 yards away if it isnt contested.
It's cross factional, so both sides can do it. The alliance just tend to be crying about it more than exploiting it.

I'm not gonna argue with 20+ wins.. I'm used to 20+ losses in a row as horde.. fucking noobs.

I dont get how that happens.
On Dunemaul, the horde pugs used to roll alliance pugs in AV relentlessly.
Then X-server came and alliance rolled it.
Strange.

Ever since X-server came horde has gotten rolled in AV on dunemaul. I really don't know for sure but perhaps playing carebear premades with their very easily obtained tier3 gear might be part of the reason.

At about the same time they removed most of the NPC's. I don't think that's a coincedence.
Alliance can waltz right up to the relief hut without aggroing anything. Horde can barely step foot on the bridge without archers from both towers blasting you.
This has been debated endlessly on the official forums. Most people realize there is a huge terrain advantage for the Alliance but alot of them won't admit it because it's the only BG they can win consistently.

You can't even defend the Horde relief hut at Frost GY since they can just use the snowbank and jump over the only choke point we have.
The map is ridicously in favor of alliance.

These posts would have been deleted on the officials. Good thing the mods don't have any WoW bias here.

I don't read the officials.. would they really have been removed?
I mean it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the difference in the two main base layouts. Alliance has a bridge as the ONLY way to come into it, with sniper towers on both sides. Horde has a small wooden fence around the lower section that can be jumped over in at least 2 different areas.
The makers HAD to have known it was rigged in favor of the Alliance.

There are choke points on both sides. After frostwold you have to go through the tower and up the hill where east and west frostwolf towers are. The jaunt around the back has (rightly) been cut out, so thats the only way through.
There are archers for the alliance at those towers, just the same as the horde have to experience. Warriors and feral druids can charge the stormpike guards from the hills where the harpies are to cut out the chokepoint at the bridge, rogues and druids can stealth through.
I have found that most of the defeats that alliance and horde experience are generally due to not getting a decent balance between offence and defence and having too many people (on the losing side) who just give up so they can get into another game.
The alliance have to deal with "Let them have Stonehearth Graveyard" because unless the horde hold Stonehearth, the alliance seem to be scared to push on any further in case they meet a turtle.
I just hate pugs.
Getting a decent amount of people in the same AV and on vent = priceless.

See above for the choke-point thing.
