Can you still get a scarab off a box after its been disarmed with 408?

No, it disappears.

I don't know if you can.. but when I've disarmed scarabs with 408 they do not pop out of the box (is that what you're asking?), if you mean can a rogue then get the scarab, I don't know.

I believe it simply disappears. Next time I do a Rift run I'll double check myself.

Well, if you detect or disarm after using 408, you can see the scarab in the box. But I was operating under the assumption you cant get the thing out after using 408 on it.

Was just making sure I was right instead of throwing away a buncha valuable scarabs.

OK, still havent found any verbs or anything that would allow the removal of a scarab after being disarmed by 408.

But, you can remove them after opening the box with 407. Assuming you can survive going through it. I assume picking would be the same, since they re-arm.
